So was my first time here I was brought here by a friend we had cocktails, appetizers and dinner. The food I have to say was amazing the service not so much our waitress seemed very non-enthusiastic. If you will, I understand everybody has days, the other thing for a place that was not so busy the appetizer and the dinner came out exactly at the same time which is kind of like an unspoken no no at any dinner service nonetheless, the food was very amazing

EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. When you first enter you get the pub/tavern feel so I was expecting a good burger vibe. NOPE not at all. I went out on a limb and ordered the fileted Bronzino OMG so yummy. Hubby had pasta with shrimp and he said it was very good. Shrimps were big and plentiful. The sauce was good too.
He also had the lobster roll (I believe with shrimp) which he shared was flavorful and filled with each bite.
I am SOLD. Wish I took some pictures but I honestly wasn’t expecting the food to be THAT good.
When I am hungry and I know the food will be good, Galo will see me.
Ask for Lorena as your server. She was attentive and welcoming.
Glad my friend invited us out.

I really wanted to like Gallo Tavern 18 and make it a regular go-to spot, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The food was okay—slightly above average—but not memorable enough to make up for the lackluster service.
The staff only handled the basics: taking our order and serving the food. Beyond that, there was no effort to check on us during the meal. We had to seek them out whenever we needed something, like more drinks, condiments, or utensils. For the price, I expected much better attention and care.
It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it wasn’t great either. I was hoping for more, and at this point, I’m not sure I’d return.

This place just opened recently. I went there for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. I had the lump crab cake appetiser and its one of the best. The crab cake was decent sized, and the accompanying roasted corn salsa was awsome. I had the chilean sea bass for my entree, and cleaned my plate as well. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The place has a the feel of a good old tavern. Dark wood, with some old photos on the wall, and with Christmas decorations throughout. Tables are spaced enough that it was not overwhelmingly noisy and conversations at the table was pretty relaxed. It was a very pleasant experience.

Great restaurant for dinner. Excellent restaurant for Brunch. Me and my other half have been here numerous times for the brunch, and each time, we have a great time with the unlimited mimosas and white Sangria’s. The food is always great here, and their standard price brunch is right on the mark. There is a slightly higher price on holidays like Easter Sunday that us regulars noticed, but we get it. The ambiance is beautiful rustic style and there is a modernized room that they have to right when you go in, which looks fun too. The waiters are always attentive, and the bread is always fresh. The white sangria is the star of the show for me. We will be back to this neighborhood gem. Plus, they are available on OpenTable, which is a win for us.

Our anniversary was today, so I ordered skirt steak and baby back ribs for dinner. It was delicious and was as described in the online menu. We will definitely order again, and I highly suggest that you give Galo tavern a try. They have yummy desserts on the menu, too.

This is my first time here an I can honestly say the food here is amazing. Our server was amazing and very attentive to all of our needs. The cocktails here are very strong so probably one drink with your meal will be fine. The meals in the picture are crab cakes for appetizers. For the entree it is tavern Mac & cheese with turkey bacon and fish and chips. Everything was delicious I would definitely come back. The fish is fresh the crab was amazing and the Mac was nice and creamy. It was definitely worth the trip here.
