Love this place! It’s nestled in a SA all shopping center with plenty of parking… careful not to miss it. Food was great! We had the Rum Raisin French Toast and a breakfast Asian noodle bowl. Very friendly family environment. Chef Jeff actually comes out and speaks with customers for quality checks. Super nice guy even went out and pick vegetables from their fresh garden out front and gave us some! Overall… great food with a very diverse menu and excellent service! Attached photo is Chef Jeff picking veggies for us!

I ate here with my wife. We had coffee, pancakes, scramble bowl, biscuits, and hash browns. It was better than a home-cooked breakfast. Large portions. Fresh ingredients. Delicious.
The only negative I found, which my wife actually liked, the hasbrowns were a bit oily. They tasted great, but it’s just a personal preference.
We’re looking forward to many more meals here.

Delicious first dinner at J & B! Super tasty chef special chicken with chopped tomatoes & goat cheese (I forget the official name of the meal) with sweet potato fries. It was such a generous portion of chicken that I took 1/2 of it home & had it for lunch another day. My husband had the BBQ Cherrywood Smoked Pulled Pork. The menu said it came on a bun but his was on bread (see photo). He also had 2 small pieces of bone in the pork. His steak fries were tasty & crispy. He would rate his meal 3 stars. After 25 years in Hampstead this place is a breath of fresh air!! Looking forward to the next trip to J & B.

Very nice breakfast, very nice owners, our food was served as ordered and hot. The coffee was delicious, hot, and flavorful – yes I like my coffee black, nothing to hinder that delightful taste!

Literally some of these best food I’ve ever eaten. You’ve heard of ma & pa eatery’s, but this place has hands down some of the best, authentic, home made food in carroll county! Amazing.

Went for dinner. Had the seared Bistro Filet & Chef Jeff’s Chicken. Both were excellent. Portion size was large. House salads were fresh. Baked potatoes were cooked just right.. Will definitely be back. Want to try the breakfast menu.

Literally just found out about this place today literally a diamond in the rough order of the pineapple mango pancakes two eggs sunny side up with scrapple and the pancakes came with two delicious sauce to dip them in highly impressed will be ordering from quite frequently and the staff was very friendly upon arrival for takeout

In town for a few weeks and I’m happy I found this spot. Stopped in for breakfast after golfing and was happy to find great food. Chef Jeff is a great guy and let us try some menu items on top of what we ordered. You can see the details in the dishes and his passion for hospitality. If I have one critique, it’s probably that the coffee was really bad, but let’s face it, the food and owner were so great, I’ll happily come back.

New to the area and stopped by chance. Food is phenomenal! You can tell it is cooked to order and fresh. Had the biscuits and gravy which was LOADED with fresh sausage. Biscuits were buttery and soft. Delicious! presentation and flavor not the same boring glop on a plate which was very cool! Service…AMAZING. Atmosphere….felt right at home! Someone here said prices are expensive?! If anything they need to raise their prices. You can spend the same amount of money at a fast food joint and they are not putting fresh scallions or sausage on their biscuits nor table service. CAN NOT WAIT TO RETURN AND CHECK OUT DINNER!

Besides the food being amazing for a small town, you couldn’t ask for better staff and more attentive owners. I have a little girl, and we have been taking her since she was 1, and this is the only local place I feel comfortable taking her on my own. The owners engage with her, other diners engage with her, and I actually get to enjoy a full cup of hot coffee! Plus it helps she LOVES Mr. Jeff’s cheesy eggs he always spoils her with!
