Brookwood has been serving the very best of 100% Irish grass and grain fed beef on Dublin’s Baggot Street since 2014. Our dry aged steaks are complemented by fresh Irish seafood, oysters, and always a vegetarian option. Open for dinner 7 days a week and lunch Tuesday to Friday. Every Sunday from 1pm we serve one of Dublin’s finest Sunday Roasts. Our Club Room on the 2nd floor offers private dining for 10–16 guests — perfect for corporate entertaining, celebrations, and match day events. No hire fee, no minimum spend. My wife and I recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Brookwood on Baggot Street, and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel immediately at ease — their professionalism and kindness truly enhanced our evening.
We opted for the Tomahawk for Two deal, which included a generous Tomahawk steak, fries for two, two sauces, and a bottle of house red wine — all for €99.00. It’s an incredible value, especially considering the quality of both the food and service. While we had requested the steak to be cooked medium, it arrived slightly more on the medium-rare side. However, the flavours were so rich and the meat so tender that we decided to continue without sending it back — and we’re glad we did. It was absolutely delicious, expertly seasoned and perfectly complemented by the sauces and crispy fries.
What truly touched us was the thoughtful gesture of a complimentary dessert to mark our anniversary. It was a lovely surprise and added a personal touch to an already special night.
Brookwood strikes the perfect balance between an upscale dining experience and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear that the staff take pride in making each guest feel celebrated, whether it’s a regular dinner out or a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. We left feeling full, happy, and genuinely appreciated.

We have a new contender for the title, this place is fantastic. The service is above and beyond and the food is wonderful. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you want a relaxed, friendly and cosy spot for a fantastic meal, come here. If you want a rowdy bar – go somewhere else!! Can’t wait for my next visit.

I planned a surprise birthday dinner for my partner and I had the most pleasant encounter throughout. I booked the private dining room months in advance and spoke with the manager over the phone to plan it all. On the actual night, I couldn’t have asked for better. All my guests were warmly welcomed and looked after. I brought a cake which was taken care of. The food and drinks were incredible and the staff were very polite and helpful. Afterwards, we got complimentary shots. We couldn’t hear any noise from downstairs or the streets and the room was spacious and easy to get around. Overall we all had a great and memorable time. I would strongly recommend this place for your private dinners.

Had a group dinner. The service was fantastic and the decor of the restaurant is amazing. The chicken lifer pate was nice and flavourful. I had a ribeye steak and it was salted a little too much for my liking but the peppercorn sauce and mash was very delicious.
