Food really good,, sides are priced high for the amount you get…
The young lady who was waiting on us was not helpful.. I know it was not on menu, I was trying to get brisket ala carts, she would not do it, so on the marquee it said the brisket vegetable soup was good,, so I asked her about it , she said we don’t have that anymore.. So why was it still on the marquee??
The ribs were great….
Probably won’t be back..

This was our first time here in Danville for bbq and thought we should have some. Glad we did..the food was excellent..but a lot of items I wish I did try was the nachos of rib tips or pulled pork. The owner came out and greeted us as well. Very nice guy..Definitely will be back later

First time and definitely not my last. Ordered the Brisket sandwich with baked beans and macaroni and cheese. Very generous portions and everything was outstanding. The restaurant was very clean and the owner Dave walked introduced himself which isn’t something you see much of these days. The sauces was also outstanding and available at the counter. This is definitely one of the best BBQ restaurants in the country and I’ve been to some of the most famous BBQ joints in Kansas City, Memphis and in Alabama.
If you are traveling on I74 and passing through around Danville Illinois take the Route 1 Exit South and take the drive down to the edge of Westville. Definitely worth the few minutes drive.

I went to Dave’s for the first time today, and ordered the 3 meat sampler. All I have to say is YUUUM!! This was the BEST BBQ that I have had since I moved out of Texas and have lived in Illinois. I am NOT just saying that. The women that took my order, and prepared it were SO SWEET!! They made me feel welcome, and the cashier even chatted it up with me. After I paid for my order I seen they had bread pudding as well, and I had to get some!! The baked potato was HUGE!! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants some bangin bbq.

Finally tried Dave’s double barrel bbq today in Westville . I now wished I’d tried it sooner cause it was really good , fair prices ,great quality and big portions . You really can’t ask for alot more from a BBQ place , usually I eat bbq from places and am disappointed. Today wasn’t the case the pulled pork nachos were fantastic as well as the brisket Mac and cheese .
