We loved that they have a free air machine! So we filled up our tank and got breakfast, too. Service was good and food was especially great for a fueling center. I loved the coffee and the variety of creamers that included almond milk!! I was very grateful for that inclusion.

The “fresh food” is whack just go down the road to sheetz or any of the local joints where food is cheaper and far superior. The service and atmosphere however at wawa is fine and as a gas station it serves well. My issue with my food was I bought a cheese steak that had no cheese and the bread was so burnt I could barely eat it. Also, I bought some fresh pretzels that were burnt as well. Paying 30 bucks for burnt food is disappointing to say the least…

Very disappointed. I’m originally from an area with lots of Wawas, so I knew what to expect. We ordered 4 items, and waited about 20 minutes. There didn’t seem to be that many orders ahead of us, or people in the store. They completely missed the boat with my chicken salad sandwich-it was a simple request wheat hoagie with chicken salad, lettuce, onion, pickle, oregano, cheese. I received a wheat hoagie with barely any chicken salad, no toppings, and bacon. So-I don’t eat pork-so I couldn’t even eat the sandwich. It looks like they knew they messed up bc there were 3 pickle slices thrown in the wrapping, not on the sandwich. The Mac and cheese was gross and cold, my daughter’s burrito fell apart the minute she unwrapped it. Lots of employees there, but it doesn’t seem like any of them are actually working. I was excited for this Wawa, even drove 15-20 min to get my food, and was really let down.

Went in to get some coffees and other drinks. There was no other customers there but us. We ordered our lattes & waiting for a very long time. We didn’t complain, even though the 2 employees making the drinks were busy talking about a guy. Instead the kids were just laughing and talking, while we wait. there was an older white female employee walking around & cleaning but pretty much following us around the entire time. She yelled at the kids for laughing too loud. We made 3 separate purchases. It was 6 of us. After being in there for over 30 mins waiting for 2 lattes, the moment we got them, tasted them and putting the sleeves over the hot cups (looking at the sugers to add), the older women chased us out the store…claimed that that’s not a place for us to hang out. We were literally waiting on them for our beverages. We left the store confused & called to speak with the manager. The person who answered the phone started laughing at us. When the manager finally came on the call, he was worse. We are BROWN…have never been treated so horribly by an establishment. We were vacationing & went to this wawa 2 days in a row. this trip was late at night. Never again.

Up to today things had been nice and clean. Yet, today get home with our food. We find several not just one or two but several black hairs in our box and on and in our food. They look like 1 to 2 in hairs. To find so many is just something I have never seen before.

We have never had a problem with this store and could care less about the music (which by the way is a good mix of genres and years) or tattooed employees (as someone else commented and or complained about)… Friendly staff, good eats that are reasonably priced. Store and bathrooms are clean. And good gas prices. The only thing I can add that is a negative is the catering prices. They are quite highly priced, especially since there is a Food Lion across the road. I would have spent well over 3+ times the price as Food Lion for the food and sides, that’s too bad. Other than that I recommend this store for anything else. Welcome to the neighborhood!

This review is focused on the food rather than the service. The Wawa itself was very clean and the staff were friendly, but the food was extremely disappointing. I ordered a steak and cheese that wasn’t even hot—the cheese wasn’t melted, the steak was ice cold, and the bacon was clearly microwave bacon that hadn’t been heated at all. I also ordered chicken tenders that tasted freezer-burned and had a rubbery, microwaved texture. Both items ended up being thrown out because they seemed like a potential food-poisoning risk.
The gobbler bowl I ordered for my girlfriend also made her feel sick. The only thing we enjoyed were the milkshakes, but the rest of the food completely ruined our experience. I’ve been to other Wawa locations and never had issues like this. It’s a shame, especially since this store opened not too long ago—there definitely needs to be some attention given to the food quality and preparation. I know it’s a gas station, but someone is going get get very ill if others meals are like this.

I had to wait 28 minutes for a hoagie. I’ve been to dozens of wawas, and that’s the longest (by far) that I’ve ever waited. The sandwich was thin and not well packed or made. I know Wawa can do better, and this Wawa is quite new. I’m hoping it can improve since I was so excited that a new Wawa opened up in this area.
