The pistachio rose cheesecake is to die for!!! Highly recommend!
I tried it in the summer, not sure if they offer it still but literally the best cheesecake I’ve had! The pistachio flavor is very subtle and not overwhelming and it is very creamy and rich! Such a decadent dessert! The rose petals on top are a beautiful finish!
I would definitely purchase again if I’m in the area.
I gave 3 stars bc when I came in no one was at the counter and had to wait for someone to come to the front. Also, the non English music they were playing inside was boring and definitely threw off the vibe. It didn’t add to the ambiance of the establishment. They have limited options as well in terms of pastries/dessert. Also, their website does not list the prices for ordering whole cheesecakes they only list the price for individual slices and single pastries which is not helpful if I want to order for an event or large gathering. It would save customers time if they listed the price online for a whole cheesecake. Nobody has time to email or call, much easier to place order online for pickup but they don’t offer that on the website for a whole cheesecake.
Overall, the cheesecake is worth a try and I’ll update my review if I try the viral fruit pastries the ones that look like real fruit and let y’all know how it is if I do.

I’ve been wanting to try out this place for a while now and I’m glad I got to stop by here. I tried out their Oreo cheesecake, rolled croissant and their cheese croissant. The Oreo cheesecake was squishy and creamy, the rolled croissant had nice pistachio filling. The breakfast croissant was nice and flaky as well and Tate’s even better when it was warmed up. They have a lot of other desserts as well which looked amazing.
Bummer that there’s no menu with prices or displayed prices overall.

This cake was truly a masterpiece. I asked Wasfia the cake maker to make me a WInter ONEderland themed cake for my daughters 1st birthday, I asked her to be creative with it and from the moment we saw it, we were in awe — every detail of the Winter ONEderland theme was executed so beautifully and delicately. It honestly felt like a piece of art. Not only was it stunning, but it tasted just as incredible as it looked. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it, and it was the perfect centerpiece for my daughter’s first birthday. Thank you for creating something so special and memorable — we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The prices are also very reasonable, thank you so much Wasfia!

I was really excited to try Cakenbake, but this was honestly one of the most disappointing dessert experiences I’ve had. We ordered the three fake fruit desserts the apple, cherry, and mango. Somehow all three tasted exactly the same. There was zero fruit flavor at all. None of them tasted like apple, cherry, or mango just a generic, overly sweet cheese filling.
The texture was also misleading. It definitely wasn’t mousse like advertised. It tasted straight-up like sweetened cream cheese. Then we tried the cheesecake bites… and somehow they tasted *exactly the same* as the fake fruit fillings. No difference in flavor, just the same sugary, bland cheese cream.
What made it even worse was that it was both **too sweet and completely flavorless at the same time**. I genuinely don’t know how that’s possible, but that’s exactly how it tasted. just sugar without any real depth or actual dessert flavor.
For the price and the hype, this was a huge letdown. Everything tasted identical, artificial, and flat. Definitely would not recommend.

My family and I just got back from Turkiye and when I saw this place we had to go and try it out. Desserts are delicious, almost like the ones we had in Istanbul!!!!
The service was great, very polite and helpful!!! Place looks very cute and clean. Can’t wait to go back!!!

The wife wanted to go to this place (Palos Hills location) because of Instagram influencers posting so i agreed cause i like to try new things but once i got home i opened it and green moled spores. I took a scope to remove it but the smell got stronger so i just tossed it. Can’t recommend it and will not go back.

I visited Cake N Bake after seeing their beautifully decorated cakes and croissant rolls on Instagram — they definitely looked impressive. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t match the appearance; it was quite average. We had confirmed details about the fillings, but all we got was colored cream with no distinct flavors. Another letdown was the customer service — we inquired about the fruit cone listed on their online menu, but the cashier rudely refused to acknowledge it. Overall, it’s worth visiting once for the visual appeal, but I wouldn’t go back.

For the money I paid just shy of $60 for 6 pieces of pastries I would expect a better service and attitude. The Bakery is small, really cute and vibrant for a date or to go with family friends but the staff was rushing me and couldn’t answer my questions. Each time I asked a question they would not answer or they looked at me like I’m dumb. I understand they were busy with customers but I am a paying customer too and I deserve to know what I am purchasing. I am of ethnic heritage and I do know all about pastries and the quality of ingredients that go into making them. If it wasn’t for the viral Mango that my daughter wanted to try I would not have visited the Bakery. I will not be returning and will post the reviews of each pastry I purchased and I will tell you I am not impressed. If your store cannot handle the rush of customers don’t have a bakery

Came here earlier today, first time and definitely will return. Amazing cheese cakes, chocolate pistachio so far is my favorite. Haven’t tried much of the options they have but so far, everything I tried here was amazing. The lady who work there was very polite, friendly and patient. Price honest wasn’t bad I got 4-5 items and 2 of them were huge delicious cheesecakes I paid less than $30. I wish these people a great success! Thank you very much!
