Delicious food and great service. The parking was limited when we were there for a 730 pm reservation, mostly because it’s a shared parking lot. Be prepared for street parking depending upon when you come. We loved everything we got there, specifically the truffle fries, halibut, and fishermans stew. They also have staff that know their mixed drinks. Wife ordered a hot toddy due to the weather and to push through a sore throat in conversation. It was perfect.
Secondary note. I do reviews all over and one thing I’ll seek is reading the negative reviews with how the restaurant responds. Real talk from this place, I think they back their class in food and the know what they have. I love how they respond to customers, seeking clarity when it can be had and then calling out trolls. Boss job Lamb, top marks in how you do business.

As a former chef I very much enjoyed the flavor profiles of the Brussels sprouts and whipped feta starters. I can’t help but imagine a whipped feta, homemade roasted garlic & red pepper hummus and olive tapenade starter one day.

We ordered the lamb chops and daily special- butternut lasagna. Both entrees and sides were seasoned to perfection- my partner who loathes onions learned the beauty of pearl onions and their presence in a perfectly sautéed kale green mix.

Parking was validated and the hostesses were able to get us in 30 minutes early. However- the hostess was quite a bit unwilling to sit me in a place next to my partner- cited fire code and the second spot the hostess said I needed to move immediately if someone was sat- but eventually they moved us to a place I could sit with my partner. I wanted to get a chance to to tell them WHY we needed to sit next to each other (retired first responder suffering from a TBI)- but despite the initial kerfuffle, we had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

We had such a great experience at The Fat Lamb! The service was awesome! They are super friendly and explain the story and menu very well! We travel a ton and always search for eclectic top restaurants, this was by far a top favorite. We tried the whipped feta, Greek salad, and the double smash burger, and all of it was amazing. The feta was so creamy and flavorful, the salad was really fresh, and that burger… wow! The atmosphere was relaxed but still had a nice energy to it, which made it the perfect spot for dinner.

Very good restaurant. Review of the items we ordered:
Roasted galric sprouts: good glaze, slight sweetness from the pomegrate glaze. Very good.
Warm baugette: very good bread. The spreads all seemed good but the salted butter was a little too salty.
Warm pita and feta – the pitas were amazing, the combination with feta was unexpected as i was expecting the sweetness of a hunmus but found the feta unexpected. After getting over the initial surprise the combination turned out to be pretty good

Lamb chops
Prob the best u have had in a while. The spice, the glaze, the everything was amazing. Didnt really pair well with the suggested wine but that was the least of the concern.
Deserts were all good!

Overall it was good. I asked for my lamb to be medium rare and it came out medium to medium well. The food was a little salty. The key lime tart was absolutely fabulous.

Justin was our server and he was really nice. Loved the ambiance the restaurant gave. Ordered an old fashion and a margarita but they were the smallest sized drink that we have ever seen for those types of drinks. We thought the food would taste amazing given its Aesthetic appearance but that was not the case. The shrimp and bread that we ordered for appetizers were the best parts of our meal. The food was overpriced compared to its taste. And, we were charged a 20% gratuity for just the two of us. We did leave an additional tip because we liked Justin but definitely would have been upset if the server did not uphold decent customer service attributes.

Every worker we conversed with was very pleasant, the bathrooms were very clean, and we did not feel crowded. All my food was wonderful and absolutely delicious, EXCEPT the Brussels sprouts. I was terribly disappointed, they were soaked in balsamic to the point that was all you tasted and they were almost unpalatable. My fiancé ate them anyway because they were $15, but I would absolutely never suggest this item to anyone. The other food was divine tho; I thought the lamb chops were 10/10, absolutely wonderful.

This place was absolutely stunning. It was filled with exquisite ambiance filled with rich taste of southern hospitality. The food was good and priced well for fine dining. The server was great and attentive. I came with friends whom I share a birthday with, and the host created a beautifully written card in calligraphy for one of us. I mentioned to the server that it was also my birthday as well but I did not get the same well written card but was provided with a discounted return note. The display of the wine collection was well presented. I enjoyed the restaurant and it’s location. It wasn’t too crowded and adequate parking.

From the outside, The Fat Lamb looks modest, but inside it’s all modern Mediterranean flair meets Kentucky hospitality.

I started with Brussels sprouts dressed in pomegranate molasses and chilies, sweet, spicy, and perfectly balanced. The lamb was cooked to perfection, complemented by a smoky black BBQ sauce that let the meat shine. Finished with their award-winning Nutella mascarpone mousse, llight, airy but still a little too rich for me.

Service was exceptional, attentive without pretension, and every dish felt thoughtful and purposeful. Only downsides: parking can be tricky
