The wait time iin their drive- thru and in store is always more than 15 minutes. If you’re looking for fast service this is NOT the place. I’ve visited this location 4x and only had the patience to wait once. That was b/c I had a coupon for a free smoothie. I was looking for healthy high protein items. A lot of their menu items are high calorie and high in sugar. I got the cherry protein smoothie, but they only offer 3 protein smoothies. I also tried their jerk chicken wrap. It was kinda of expensive but it was OK. They do offer acai bowls I’ve never tried them. If you have time to wait you should try them but I found a better place in kernersville with healthier options and cost less at Fresh Monkee.

I usually come here food good . I go through the drive thru . Whyy did I read their food inspection. But yeah. . Now i just feel some type of way because my family has been going when their score was…. Reynolda and Northpoint restaurants suck. Check the score before you spend your hard earned money. So I personally didn’t experience anything bad attitude-wise—the staff was polite—but like others have mentioned, it takes a long time for them to make your order. Even when you place your order online several minutes in advance, there’s still a long wait.
I had just ordered a Peanut Paradise smoothie, and it still wasn’t ready 15 minutes after I arrived. As a former Tropical Smoothie employee, I know how things should run, and the service when it comes to preparing food and smoothies really needs to improve.
I’m not sure what their hiring situation is, but it did look like they had enough staff working to get things done efficiently.

They leave your online orders sitting on a table RIGHT NEXT TO A COOLER. My order had been ready for approximately 10 minutes max, being that this is a SMOOTHIE shop I was under the impression they would be stored in a cooler, why else would you offer online ordering? When I got there and noticed my smoothie was literally warm juice by this point I politely asked if it could be remade. The girl behind the counter gave me a disgusted look at said “uh no this order been ready for 10 minutes what did you expect?” To which I said “I thought maybe you would put it in a cooler or something. It was an online order” she replied “no we put our orders on that table. I can remake it but ima charge you for it. You not getting it for free? I don’t know what you think this is.” I was honestly stunned because I was way more polite than I feel I SHOULD have been in that scenario. At that point I just left. This is a pitiful excuse for a “professional” establishment and if the employees don’t have the common knowledge to put a SMOOTHIE in a COOLER then this job may just be a little too challenging for them. Although considering everyone besides the girl at the counter was in the back singing and dancing to the loud music playing on the speakers i can understand why they would continue working a job that requires little effort, no accountability, and getting to treat customers however you feel. I’ve been to plenty of tropical smoothie locations, and this was my first and last time at this location. Without a doubt.

Clean and cute and playing great music. Staff was conscientious and made my Hummus Wrap into a bowl as I requested. So good! Also had an Açaí Berry Boost and it was delicious!

This review is so unfortunate cause I love the company overall, but this location could use a little work. I placed my order in the drive-thru like regular, got up to the window (after waiting around 10 mins) and the employee is confused as to who took my order since it did not pop up. I paid for the wrong order – which the employee refunded me. I had to place my order again and was told to pull up to the parking spot and they’ll run it out to me…nope I ended up waiting even longer and went inside to get it myself. All this for one smoothie, at least it was still good though.

I’ve never had a good experience at this location.
The customer service has always been awful. Today I had the survey coupon to get a $1.99 smoothie with a purchase of a wrap or flatbread. I tried asking if this applied to the breakfast wraps and flatbreads as well because I don’t eat meat and don’t like any of their regular options. They gave me a very vague answer that I guessed meant it didn’t apply. So I ended up getting the chicken pesto flatbread because the only reason I was there was to use the coupon. I got the flatbread with no chicken but the ingredients make it seem like there’s a good amount of other stuff like multiple different cheeses and tomatoeS plural…..well this is what I got…ONE TOMATO and so little cheese, you would think that paying full price for it and not getting the one ingredient that costs the most money that I could at LEAST get more than one slice of tomato on it.

Service was just awful. Waited 20 minutes for a crappy, disappointed, expensive smoothie. Would not recommend. Nail sticking out drive thru board and almost hit my rear view mirror on it. No smiles, no pleasantries, and no sign of friendliness or cheerfulness.

I have eaten at 4-5 Tropical Smoothie Cafes, all of which were systematically very good!!! Out of well over 100 visits, there was only only one time did I had a bad dry food wrap right before closing from an employee that I had never seen work there before or after! I never get smoothies, only the flatbreads and wraps! However, the smoothies appears to be excellent from all the large number of fresh looking ingredients that I see the employees add in preparing them!
