Wow! After traveling all day to get to Tahoe, what a great first choice of food! I ordered the Burrito Salad with chicken. It was incredibly flavorful, healthy, and filling. Honestly it was so flavorful it didn’t need dressing but the vinaigrette was . Service was top notch and respectful, we had our space. I would describe the atmosphere as contemporary nature, complete with calm modern country music. Thank you!!!

During our visit to Lake Tahoe, we decided to grab lunch at this restaurant. The Verde Burrito Bowl, Verde Salad, and Rotisserie Chicken Plate were outstanding! The flavors were a delightful mix of freshness and authenticity. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The interior was tastefully decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The attention to detail in both the cuisine and ambiance was impressive. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. A must-try for anyone in the area seeking a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

We stopped in for lunch before heading home on our weekend getaway. Everything on the menu is wholesome and is friendly for veggie and meat eaters. We both ordered burritos and an order of chips and salsa. The vegetarian burrito is delicious. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the brown rice inside, but it was cooked perfectly. It was fluffy and not bland. I enjoyed it. The burritos were also huge, and I saved the other half for later. The chips and salsa were also delicious. Thenchips are hearty and not overly salted. We ordered the medium salsa on everything. Get the hot if you like it spicy, but I enjoy verde salsa, so it was perfect for my taste.

Food: Ingredients are of high quality, fresh and well prepared. You can see the rotisserie chickens roasting, and they taste great. The tacos (fish and shrimp) were a healthy portion size and super messy. Yum.
Service: Problem solvers. I called ahead about dog-friendly seating. While the restaurant isn’t really set-up for your pup to join you, the person on the phone offered some solutions. There is one table in front of the restaurant to sit or you can do take-out to eat at the tables at the end of the shopping plaza. Ultimately I left my pup at home but appreciated being given options. Second example, I couldn’t decide which taco to pick (fish or shrimp). She suggested one of each. Perfecto!
Atmosphere: Great modern Mexican vibe. Clean, stylish.

The highlight of our meal were there tasty fish tacos. The spices in the taco go great with their different salsa’s, do try the 911 for the smoky flavor.
The other options we tried weren’t as flavorful. The chicken torta and taco were couple of dishes we tried.
Found the rotisserie chicken to be tad bit dry, we like it slightly juicy. This could just be on preference, as the chicken does go well with the different salsa’s.

Delicious, healthy and generous portions – the torta burger is my personal favorite as are their selection of sides. Love that it’s locally owned. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options if that’s your jam.

Honestly still thinking about this meal…we were visiting from LA and stopped at Verde for lunch after a long hike. I really wish there was a Verde in LA now. I ordered an LA equivalent and it was not to the same standard. I would also pay for that cilantro sauce recipe. 10/10

First time trying here. It was absolutely delicious! The rotisserie chicken has really good flavor and was very juicy. They offer homemade salsa with your meals. We ordered chips and salsa with the meduim salsa. This salsa is a must try. It was a green salsa but very good! I liked it better over my mild salsa i ordered with my meal. My husband ordered the tri tip burrito with extra hot salsa. The kiddo got a cheese and bean burrito. This place is a definite must try if you are visiting South Lake Tahoe. Next time we are in town and want to go to the beach we are stopping here and getting a whole chicken with tortillas for the beach. Oh plus they have Boylan cane soda. Very delicious.
