I got the empanadas. with cheese and meat, but when I got them, I found out that they don’t come with cheese they come with Parmesan sprinkled on top of the lettuce OK and then on top of that I found out that they use a corn MASA instead of a flower MASA so they’re just not good in my opinion they are not good. The corn is way too thick. There’s no cheese, the corn masa like soaks up the oils for the really greasy.

More people need to come to this place. It is the most authentic place in town. We love this little whole in the wall. Attached pictures are of the carnitas tacos and the…. well something I can’t pronounce (Tlyuda). Tamales are excellent here as well. Ate them too quick to snap a photo. Prices are also AMAZING.

My husband is Mexican, and is very in sync with his culture. The waitress (which was the best part of our visit) worked her butt off trying to get things together with all of the customers. The poor buffet looked as if it needed help. We ordered through the menu thinking it would be better. 1st, our cup was cracked and liquid was pouring on the table. She fixed the issue, no problem. My husband was very offended when his plate was served before mine, and refused to eat until mine was served. 2nd, the chips were very stale. 3rd the queso cheese dip was cold. 3rd, our food tastes frozen and unseasoned. My avocado was brown, I had so much grizzle in my steak (they had no ground beef) i could not eat it. 4th, my husband’s beans were canned, not a good sign for a restaurant that claims “authentic”. His rice was very dry and cold. His tacos were stale and hard to chew. My husband has had the gastric sleeve, and I have had the gastric bypass. We alert restaurants so that they can (supposed) to assist our dining needs. They refused. We could not finish our meals, and the manager only took the price of the queso cheese dip off our tab. We will never eat here again. We will stick with Don Julio’s, Tacos de le Millenial, and Dos Pollos. 10 years ago, this place was more respected. My husband told me it was embarrassing to him and his culture.

Super friendly service, with a comfortable atmosphere. The tomales are great and tacos are almost better. I think they make their own salsa as well. Definitely worth the trip.

We ordered four 16oz chorizo cheese dips and we recieved 8oz cups. Payed $60 subtotal and were given back $20. Restaurant claimed DoorDash takes care of that, but they’re the ones who see and make the order. How can you make this mistake?

Poor tasting food!! Nothing shown on advertisement on the buffet and then the price was ridiculous. My bill for two people at lunch for buffet was $30 then two sodas and a cheese dip totally $63.29. I will never go back and the cheese dip with chips was terrible. The cheese dip was like water and the chips were not crunchy they were hard so hard they would not break when bitten into. I told the waitress and she did not even respond. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant any time of the day.

Horchata was $3 for a cup 70% full, chips well done and thick and super hard. Guacamole was good. Spent $55 there’s definitely a lot better places to eat Mexican food. Very disappointing. Rancho Grande is way better in Thomasville.

Chose this place as was close by hotel, being from out of town we wanted to try something different. The staff were friendly- made us feel at home right away. They have a buffet or menu to order from.. we chose buffet and were not disappointed in the variety of real Mexican food. There’s even plenty for vegetarians to choose from! We tried the coconut drink suggested by our waitress- you should ask for it, you won’t be disappointed!
