Super Taco Salad with carne asada. This is my go-to place if I want a delicious quick lunch. My salad was to my table in just minutes after ordering. Plenty of seating. Service is on point. The salad looks yummy and tastes better than it looks.

For saving the people of Anchorage with something near authentic this place is phenomenal. Does it stack up to Cali Mex or Tex Mex… surprisingly almost. I’m very happy this place exists and their burritos are huge. They used to have better tacos but they still have some birria tacos and other traditional style, but not things like lengua anymore. Their portions are generous and the salsas are fantastic. They have begun to cater to the northern American pallet so you can find things like that taco shell salad and honestly I see that and immediately think red flag. Haha, if you like that though then there you go. It’s got the Cali taco shop feel in a way and the Atmosphere is actually classy and nice. It’s cashier service but they are always nice when I go. Some of the meals come with chips and some don’t. Shout out to their California burrito as it’s definitely one of the closet I have ever found outside of California. This place may not quite be a true 5 but for the area and all a 4 is undeserving as well.

Been eating here for 2.5 years, recent nose dive. California burrito potato’s are always under cooked and taste raw. Recently uber eats queso and salsa and did not receive either and no chips. Food quality has dropped significantly in the last month.

Decent food. Service was slow. It was a casual romantic evening for a date, so the leisure of the waitstaff was not important at the time. If I was casually dining, I would hate the wait for service. Food was decent but service was mediocre at best.

Wow. If I could give 6 stars, I would because birria is one of my favorite things. And how delightful to find good birria, of all things, way up in Alaska! The quesabirria tacos are generous! The meat is amazing. The asadero cheese is perfect. The consume is so good. And it’s a cherry on top to get a roasted jalapeno and delicious salsa. I’d rate it among the best birria I’ve ever had. I’m so happy to find such a place in Anchorage. It helps break up the monotony of the usual places I go to.

I got the picante burrito and my friend got the super burrito. I tried the hot sauce, the regular sauce, restaurant style salsa the avocado creme and the regular salsa. It was all very good definitely worth the cost. The dining and kitchen area is very clean. The service staff was very nice.
