Just went here tonight with my family for dinner.
Makayla working the bar was such a genuinely nice person and treated us awesome.
Personable and attentive to our needs. She was a pure gem and a rarity these days.
Food was also very good as well. I wasn’t really expecting much, but both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was.
Would certainly come back.
Thanks Makayla!

Food is fantastic, service is even better. Very nice facility. We had a blast watching the live band last night. Looking forward to more nights here.

Traveled back to home area today, northeast PA, and played golf again at Indian Hills after not playing there for several years. Family foursome get-together. The course was in great shape, especially considering the amount of recent rain. The entire staff was very personable, very professional. To top if off, we all ate lunch here. The food was TERRIFIC! I had a simple Caesar salad with shrimp, a dish that seems the same no matter where you order it. Nope! This was the absolute best Caesar salad I have ever had…by far! I hope to get back there soon, even if it’s just for dinner! The food is tremendous!

I don’t play golf but did visit Indian Hills with my family for dinner yesterday. What a pleasant time. Food and service were great. There were seven of us and we ordered a wide variety off the menu. Steaks, chops, chicken, oysters, shrimp, salads, wings. Portions were huge. Everything was totally fresh, obviously Chef prepared, and raved over by all. As soon as I saw the oversized and really well put-together house salad I knew I was in for a treat. My blue cheese dressing and my wife’s Caesar were clearly homemade and delicious. A true sign of a great restaurant. With Indian Hills now totally open to the public, I’ll be back for more!

About a year ago I played here and left a review saying I would never come back simply because of the attitude of the workers. The coarse is nice, and price is good. I was contacted by the new owners to give the place a try again under new management. I did and since then I have been back many times, and will continue to play there on a regular basis. They are really doing a good job at turning this place around.

Details about required attire are barely visible on website. Drove 45 minutes just to be told I needed to change out of jeans and a t-shirt. Plan your wardrobe accordingly when you go to play here. Place looked very nice though hopefully we’ll give it another go someday.

Played here today and it was a nice course. The guy in the pro shop this morning was very friendly and down to earth. The carts ran good. Only thing I could complain about is the sand/ dirt on the greens that could mess up your putt but we just smoothed out our path and played. I would reccomend anyone in the area give this course a try. It is alot of fun

After weeks of planning we made our much anticipated trip to Indian Hills. On check in I had forgotten the newspaper coupon, 4 play for 3. Response was no coupon no discount. Ok 2 seniors and 2 regulars, he says $30 for the seniors, but wait the website states $27. Sorry the website is wrong!!! Not my fault. It is only $3.00 but it is the principal of the issue. Ok. try to pay. Sorry our credit card system is not working!!!! Cash only. We just drove 1 and a half hours from Harrisburg, thank goodness one of us had cash. OK let’s get on to the golf experience. Claims were all new golf carts, they must have been in the barn that day!!! After 9 holes of wrestling with our cart we stopped back and got another one. The course was excellent, the greens were great and the layout was liked by everyone. At the turn we stopped for a drink and to inquire about the restaurant which was another reason we visited because we heard good things. Sorry the restaurant is closed, you have to find dinner somewhere else!!! We finished out the day, all agreeing that the course had potential BUT there are a lot of business issues that these guys have to work out if they are going to be successful. I give it a 3 just because of the course and friends know the owners.

It’s a pretty course, and usually in decent shape. Rarely busy, so you can usually walk up and get right on the tee. My only gripe is that they’ve changed the price on me every time I go and walk 9 holes. The guy in the shop (same guy every time) looks at the computer screen, says hold on, then states the price like he’s making it up based on his current mood (which is always “bored and annoyed”). When asked about the price change he says “new owners” each time. I’ll probably play here again because it’s very affordable, but it’s quite unpleasant to expect one price and then have it suddenly double for apparently no reason. So if that continues I might start playing elsewhere.
