Looked at reviews and saw lots of good reviews for this place.
The reviews were not wrong.
Old school vibe and decor. Felt very at home. Our server was super nice and very friendly and made sure we were happy. She made us feel right at home.
I ordered the chicken fried steak, my goto for breakfast, was very satisfying. Served on a very large biscuit with country gravy and instead of hash browns or breakfast potatoes, it was served with a rosemary garlic roast potato. Potatoes were a little heavy-handed with the garlic but was still good.
My wife and daughter split the eggs and sausage and potatoes. Between the two of them, they still had a hard time finishing it all. My other daughter ordered the biscuits and gravy. All were hot and freshly made and delicious. Everyone did comment my same reaction with regards to the potatoes being a little too garlicky. But that’s as far as gripes go…
The venue is not very big inside. I can see this place getting very busy, in a short time. So my advice is to come early or be prepared to wait. Parking is available on the side of the building. Again, I would recommend to give yourself plenty of time to be able to park and get a table.
I highly recommend this place

This place is amazing, I drive by here all the time and I always wanted to try it. The chicken fried steak here is wonderful, the side of rosemary garlic potatoes are probably the best potatoes I ever had. The best part about the chicken fried steak is that is prepared over biscuits, so it’s like a 2 for one deal for $22, definitely worth it.

Kerry who was my server for the afternoon, I swear, it felt like I was coming home to mom’s house, she is fantastic. Definitely come in and say hi. I dine alone a lot, so she is someone that will make you feel like you known her forever. I will definitely come back and try other things.

Absolutely loved our breakfast! And if you want the best beverage to go with your breakfast, order a double-tall screwdriver with a dollop of raspberry puree! AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!

Stopped at this spot for brunch while traveling and couldn’t be happier to have found it. Our waitress Cary was so friendly, helpful, and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed and were happy with our meals. The portions were very generous – we took home a huge box of leftovers. The kitchen was accommodating of a kiddo without a kids menu and the biscuits and sausage gravy were delicious! Highly recommend!

Woke up this morning to a call from brunch. We strolled in around noon and were immediately seated. Their patio has plenty of shade that makes the outdoor option pleasant instead of regrettable. Service was incredible and timely!

We split the cinnamon roll, taco scramble special and classic breakfast sandwich. Everything was phenomenal, but the rosemary potatoes really stole the show. All of the ingredients were fresh and flavors were straight forward. There is something on the menu for everyone, from picky eaters to children.

Thanks for a great start to our Sunday!

Made it in today with my husband, we got there right at open and it filled up fairly fast ((and for a good reason!!)) We got the biscuits and gravy as well as the corn beef special and BOI uncle Eddie really knows his brunch My husband makes pretty good biscuits and we don’t typically ever get them at restaurants because they’re usually so mediocre but this was hands down the best biscuits and gravy. The buttermilk biscuits are to die for and I’m so sad we didn’t get the biscuit cinnamon roll the corned beef with the rosemary garlic smashed potatoes also changed my life. Our server Cary was a ray of sunshine!! She was on point, despite filling up fast she got to tables so quickly and with a genuine smile (thank you again, Cary!). The overall vibe was welcoming and very homey. Oh and do yourself a favor and get the bloody Mary! I appreciate the staff and uncle Eddie for sharing his foods with us! We can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!!

Stopped here for lunch on our way to the Museum of Flight. What a gem! We arrived on a rainy Saturday to a short line of people waiting for tables so we knew it would be good. A guy came out from the bar (who we later learned was the owner, Michael) and asked if he could get us a drink while we were waiting. We got Bloody Mary’s, and what a surprise to get a shorty of beer with it! We both decided to order breakfast. My hubby ordered chicken fried steak and I got the South Park platter. Everything was absolutely amazing…the homemade biscuit, the super crispy rosemary garlic potatoes, the sausage maple cayenne sausage patty, gravy for the chicken fried steak! Need I say more? They also make their own pickles, which they started doing during Covid, and they let us try one. Super tasty and even the pickled jalapeño in it was delish and not too spicy. Michael, his partner, and the whole team were gracious, friendly, and created an overall great experience! I highly recommend stopping in and we will return for sure.
