Absolutely never again. Waking up for work and I’m still fuming. What a drastic decline.
The place inside looks nice but the service absolutely sucks.
I went last night after coming in Friday AND Saturday hoping to see a familiar face and sat down at the bar only to be ignored, again. I finally asked the female behind the bar earlier this evening where Amanda was Friday night as we have been coming in the last few weeks because of her and she said she left because management here treats people like shit (her words) and they don’t know how to keep people. Guess I’ll never get my regular drink again because the girl that attempted Friday night bombed.
I looked at the man behind the bar tonight with the girl, I believe another female worker called her Becca and she just walked away after telling me what happened and he just nodded his head and kept on making drinks in agreement. I tried several times to just talk to the bartenders but guests kept fussing about the volume on the jukebox and the entire placed seemed like a mess. TV changes and 25 minutes in I finally get an order for 10 wings.
Lots of commotion as girls dancing sexually on each other obviously overserved from the outside bar area were beyond loud. Nothing was pleasant about this experience. I felt like I was at a strip club.
I will say the gentleman behind the bar was nice but was so focused on cleaning at the end of the night I couldn’t get my togo food in as I really wanted a sandwich for work this morning or to even order a last drink. I had only had two.
Saturday I could barely get the girl at the bar inside with the white shirt on to look my way. Not even busy, just straight ignored. Your ONLY saving grace was the man towards the end of the bar area towards the bowling alley. He made my drink and was genuine about it. Really nice guy, larger male with a beard (sorry if that’s offensive but I did not catch his name)
Lucky’s just isn’t what it was last month.
I went in last month spending over $400 on a visit for me and my friends and would of had no problem doing so again however…
From the looks of the reviews below me they are not trying to improve.
As a local in the community I will not be back again.
Bowling prices also extremely high, I bowl on the Southside for half the price and the service is excellent. I wasn’t aware of the prices as previously I came with a party for Christmas but MAN
They wouldn’t even honor my military status this weekend and I get 15% off at the Southside bowling alley anytime on ANY purchase. They just looked at me and said no when I asked about it Saturday. I never thought to ask before but at least the girl who made my drinks right last month and was talkative and had a smile on her face and had the decency to at least thank me for my service as a veteran because she saw my hat.
Ended up at Linksters down the road and the bartender there was great. No loud guests, no gimmicks just good service. She even had me sign up for a buy one get one and they honor all service members, so go to Linksters.
This weekend left a bad taste in my mouth and you won’t get another dollar out of my pocket.
Go to Bowlero in Lakeland for better service and fair bowling prices and Linksters if you are looking for an actual bartender.

Tried this bar six months ago and was not a fan. Girl was so rude and I swore I’d never go back. Let me tell you, I went in because my boss had a party that Darlene set up and I met your bartender Amanda and chefs kiss*
This girl was happy, engaging, funny and polite. She talked to everyone and had everyone talking at the bar. I asked for an Old Fashioned and she asked me if I wanted it smoked and if I would prefer an apple or maple flavor. This, hands down was the BEST old fashioned I had in Lakeland ever. She even rimmed the glass in orange flavor. My coworker had a spicy watermelon margarita and said it was better than the one she had at 1961 downtown.
Lucky’s, whatever you are doing keep this girl. She’s beyond talented.
Will be back this week.
Went in a couple of months ago and had the BEST service from Amanda. I had heard from other bartenders employed here that this place was falling short in the service department but I was surprised by your bartender Amanda. She, upon first meeting me and my husband and my MIL asked us what liquors we preferred and me not a big drinker was really unsure what I wanted but I told her I loved raspberries. She made me this blackberry smashed margarita that I go every other Friday when bands play to order from her and my husband gets his Bacardi and diet. She is always polite, quick to tell you she will be right with you even if the bar is swamped and makes everyone smile. She made us feel lucky at Lucky’s.
Well, we decided to go last night instead of Friday and was told from a bartender inside that she left and they felt that it was extremely unfair. And we agree. We made this our spot because of her service.
It’s clear now looking at previous reviews management here doesn’t care about guest experiences or a staff member that could create regulars or that was quick to fix any issue. What a shame because without her and no offense your current staff just isn’t it. You have one girl with curly hair who is quick with service but outside I watched another girl just pass people and frustrated people walked inside for service, completely drowning the inside bar. No one apologized, no one checked on us. My husband couldn’t get service outside and I was completely ignored while sitting, inside. We put $25 in cash down on the bar and left after waiting 40 minutes for a second round.
Amanda would have never ignored us.
Because of this we will never return and be sure to tell the rest of the community we live in to avoid this place. And we live in a huge gated local community.
Management should realize what guests say matters, how we feel depicts where we spend our money. And although a bit pricer we always decided to go with Lucky’s because her service shined. She spoke highly of the bar, her children and was just a joy to be around.
I’d be quick to revaluate and reach out as service was a complete disaster with no manager in sight to care about our needs as loyal guests. We asked and the man behind the bar literally shrugged at us and said “Good luck. We’ve been looking for him too and our other boss never stays”
What? Really? What manager isn’t present during peak service times?
Lack of leadership and lack of respect for employees is extremely apparent here.
We will be cancelling our daughters birthday party there as my MIL recently called and we were looking into renting your room that Darlene explained to us.
Missing her behind the bar,
-Katie & Ray
Yet again another pleasure to see my favorite bartender on a Sunday!!!!!! Mick. Also met Nicki and she’s amazing as well on Friday .Thank you
