I entered through it’s ally and the bartender directed me to brass eye.
The food was amazing, tasty drinks, good music.
Perfect for meeting with friends, date night, all the above really!
Can’t wait to visit again
Order expresso martini.
Ask for Violet Dulce- she is incredible, sweet and very informative about drinks and food in the menu.
The restaurant was not busy, yet the service was extremely slow and inattentive. Two people at our table waited about 20 minutes before being told the steak they ordered was unavailable. Later, it took another 20 minutes to get a second round of drinks. We eventually had to walk up to the bar ourselves after watching our drinks sit there for an extended period of time. To make matters worse, the general manager walked past the bar multiple times while drinks for several tables — including ours — were sitting there waiting to be delivered for 20 mins while he was stocking the straws..
When our server finally returned and we mentioned the drinks again, her response was that she thought “someone had already brought them to us.” By that point they had been sitting so long they were watered down and had to be remade. What was even more surprising was that after we complained, the general manager came to our table but did not acknowledge us, apologize, or ask about our experience. He simply grabbed an empty glass and walked away. I’ve had better experiences are far less pricey restaurants.
For a restaurant where our group spent roughly $150 per couple, the level of service and management presence was unacceptable. No one checked in on us, no one took ownership of the issues, and the experience made us feel like we were inconveniencing the staff simply by being there. It completely took away from what was supposed to be a celebration.
The restaurant itself is very cute, but the back patio was not lit up even though the weather was nice outside, so I would recommend checking ahead if you expect to sit there.
The only reason this review is not one star is because the fondue and Brussels sprouts appetizers were good. Unfortunately, the entrees were just as disappointing as the service. All four of us ordered the smash burger and every single one came out burnt and looked nothing like the photos. I understand smash burgers are meant to be thin, but these were extremely burnt, dry, and had very little aioli. At $26, the quality was nowhere near what it should have been. I’ve had better smash burgers at fast food restaurants.
After reading other reviews, it seems this is not an isolated experience. I wish we had noticed that beforehand. I normally try to give restaurants grace, especially having worked in the service industry myself, but the lack of service, lack of management response, and poor food quality made this a very frustrating and disappointing visit. Do not recommend for celebrations or dinner, maybe just appetizers and cocktails at the bar so you can actually get the drink in a timely manner. The bartender was extremely nice when we asked him about our drinks, and when he had to remake them. We appreciated him.
