Server was Marquise very knowledgeable about the menu. Excellent service kept the glasses full at all times was very polite. Well manner provided excellent service. The food was fantastic. Could tell the care was taken. We came on the recommendation of a supervisor. It was solidly good, the meat for the burgers was fresh and tasty. The consensus of the family is that the burger lacked seasoning, good quality base product but the execution was lacking from the expectations. Just a bit of salt and pepper could knock this out of the park. The sweet tea was awesome! The fries made a decent showing. We are intrigued by the soup and sandwich listing, so will be back to sample other offerings. Overall good food of great quality at a decent price. I would recommend passing on the glass of water here.

The deli was really busy today. Half our order was delayed because of a lost ticket, otherwise lovely lunch. Very sweet waitress. I’ll tell ya nobody was just standing around talking! Everything as always was very good. The fried mushrooms were fantastic and hot hot hot. First time I tried the lemon pepper ranch wings. They were delicious. Beer battered fries are always so crunchy good. Hubby had the Thai chili wings and loved them. Little hot little sweet.

We usually love the food and service here, but lunch shift Dec 30th 2025 was a low point for service. My wife and I sat at the bar and were served immediately. After we finished our first beers we were ignored while the bartender or manager or whoever she was took care of other customers. Understandable, she just can’t multitask, no big deal. When she walked by I went to pick up my empty beer bottle to signal we would like another because we couldn’t get her to stop by and when I reached for it, the bottle slipped a little and made a small noise on the bar top. She then came by with a beer, put it down in front of me and condescendingly said, “you don’t have to slam your bottle down to get another beer around here.” I apologetically explained that I just fumbled the bottle when picking it up and she rolled her eyes and walked away. And that’s what pissed me off. No sorry, no nothing. Just blatant uncalled for disrespect. I asked for our check and asked to cancel our food order. She brought the check and said, “I didn’t mean it any type of way.” I said nothing in return. Again no apology. While that type of comment was uncalled for no matter the situation, a simple version of, “I’m sorry, I thought you were being rude and thats my mistake.” Would have gone a long way. We won’t be back to see the rude, heavy set, older white lady with dark hair again. Not trying to be mean, just don’t know her name and that’s the best description I have. She needs a vacation or something.

The food was great. I got a chicken cordon bleu sandwich on an onion bun with sweet potato fries. Marquis was our server and he did a great job. He is very attentive. As a former server I prefer people ask the occasion, but that did not lessen his service. A group of us were celebrating for birthdays. The atmosphere didn’t seem very welcoming. Maybe everyone was super busy. There are definitely more stares than greetings. I have no assumptions there. I would definitely go back and refer it.

We’ve been longtime customers, but our last visit left a bad impression. The owner was working behind the bar and was rude and dismissive, making us feel unwelcome. It’s disappointing to be treated this way by the owner of a place we’ve supported for years. Unfortunately, it changed how we feel about returning.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously as I see several reviews citing Heather as being unpleasant.
The rest of the staff has always been very friendly and accommodating.

This is a very well frequented place for mainly senior locals, my husband and I have been here many many times and you never know what experience you’re going to have. More often than not my food is cold, I have to send it back and ask for it to be hot. Also the servers act like they’ve never seen us before even though we’ve been in many times and I’m fed up with being treated like we’re an inconvenience. Final straw, Usually I get a chicken sandwich, this time I decided on the shrimp po-boy, it was so tiny with only four small shrimp on the sandwich, which is pathetic for the cost. As I mentioned the lemon pepper wedges are always cold. This is also a place that nickel and dimes you to death, I asked for a very small side of cocktail sauce for my shrimp po boy and had an upcharge. We keep coming, in hopes that things get better but unfortunately I don’t want to return again. Hopefully this is the last time and I’ve learned my lesson.
