Been a regular at Fuji for over 10 years now. One of the most consistent sushi spots, the service can be hit or miss as far as refills and responsiveness. But the feed is always spot on, they have this great deal on a box for only $5.99 with any speciality roll. Very cost effective and great quality, will continue to be a regular. They have done some beautiful work on the inside in recent years to make it more modern and sleep as far as decoration goes, they even have a VIP room for reservations or extremely large parties

This might be my favorite sushi restaurant. We have been to many and always end up back here. We went to eat with my family of 5 tonight and were pleased to see new kids meals options. They also have a new combo dinner/add ons. I love their Lakewood garden role which has no rice, and their ahi tower, crab Rangoon, and summer roll are some of my favorites. They are consistently affordable and have great service. Highly recommend.

A refreshing taste of all food! Even the salad has been upgraded with mix greens instead of just iceberg. The ginger dressing is definitely refreshing. The portion of chicken katsu is more than anywhere that we have seen. Good deal. The quality of food is worth the money value. Some other buffet restaurants offer amount but not freshness but here we paid for what’s worth and more.

UPDATE: Still delicious! We tried the Hunger Games roll with jalapeño and cilantro. It was the best roll EVER!

Went for lunch today, and they have a special where you buy one of a good selection of entrées and, for an additional $5.99, you get your choice of 4 appetizers, from a list of like 35. We’ve been interested in trying a variety of their options, so we did!.
Spicy Miso Ramen entrée was really good, and the Mountain Fuji Roll was very tasty.
For our appetizers, we got:
Seaweed salad = good
Gyoza = delicious!
Edamame = firm, perfectly cooked
Jalapeño lagoon = tasty, very rich
Kani salad (full order) = SUPER good!
Vegetable soup = light, delightful!
Tempura = well cooked, light, crisp
4 PC California roll = good!
Ali Tower = Great taste!
I also got the ginger peach black tea, which was very good!
The service was attentive, without being invasive. Every server took it upon themselves to look after us.

This was an interesting place. Nice atmosphere and great service.
The food was very nicely plated and plentiful. However, it was just okay in my opinion. Everything was obviously fresh, and looked very appealing but the sushi was not as (for lack of a better term) crisp or hearty as most sushi I have eaten. It was soft in texture. As a fish monger for over 10 years it was as if it had been filleted off the fish that was not of the best grading… Please do not misunderstand it was not old tasting or bad, just a weak texture.
Our server was exceptional and very entertaining.

This place is always on top of it. Some of the best rolls in Houston at a great price with nice staff. We really only ever go here for sushi after trying many different places.
They have changed up the inside of the restaurant a bit lately to clean it up and improve the aesthetic. Seems like there are some new people working than the usual folks lately, but everything has been great still.

This place has the best Sushi in the area, period!!! I’ve been eating Sushi for 40+ yrs and I’ve try all the other place within 15 mile and I keep coming back here. Fuji’s Lunch specials are great (2 or 3 Rolls specials with soup or salad $12.95 or $15.95) and can’t be beat!!!
For dinner as pictured, try the Big Hero, Gulf Port, Sex on the Beach and/or Sexy Lady. These are some of our favorites and their appetizers are great too.
