Me and my wife really enjoyed this restaurant. The vibe is great, the people are great , and most of all the food is delicious ! Here on the westside it’s hard to find a good authentic tasting Mexican restaurant but this one definetly hits that mark. We had a little of everything to try and see what we like and we liked it all and that’s rare. If you’re on the westside or rio rancho and don’t want to drive all the way to albuquerq for some good Mexican food this place is a great choice.

First the welcome inn was with enthusiasm and big smiles. River was out waiter and never let our dinks go dry. The food was fresh and one of the meats is hard to find on the west side. Cabeza tacos were the bomb . The Lengua tacos were perfectly cooked with small crunch. Keep up the good foodies guys.

Went for taco Tuesday (great deal at $2 each, $3 for shrimp) and lots of tacos to choose from. All were great and if you order 5 it comes with charro beans which were so delicious! Friendly people (the owner was there and talked to us) and good food! Nice to have an option way up in this part of town. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. They do have a patio and I’m sure it will be great when it gets warm beacuse this was the view last night!

Chile Colorado was pretty good an tacos were decent. However, flautas were not edible. Both the tortilla and the chicken inside were hard/stale as if they were old/left out and maybe re-fried?
Walked in to get the order. It was placed online. The atmosphere was nice. The person at the front greeted us and the food was already done (earlier than quoted).
If the flautas hadn’t been so bad, it would have been a 5 star experience.

After hearing about a this restaurant on Albuquerque Foodies group on Facebook, we decided to give this place a try for the first time. We ordered our food to go. They were super friendly and helpful when we had questions about the menu and service was quick. We got home and realized we were missing some side and toppings to our meal. We called them and immediately they offered to remake the order if we came back which we did. The owner was so friendly and down to earth. It was refreshing to feel and see that the owners take pride in their food and customer service. The food was great! And it’s a hidden gem close to Rio Rancho. We will be back!

Some of the best food I’ve had in Albuquerque! Delicious Mexican food that is a refreshing change from most of the New Mexican joints here. We were served chips and salsa as well as flavorful, comforting frideos soup. The one street taco we tried was amazing with carne asada and fresh squeezed lime. We also shared the Steak Rancheros plate, which came with a perfectly thin, warm tortilla. The horchata was also excellent. The staff were kind and attentive, and the interior was charming. Looking forward to eating here often in the future!
