The most excellent dive bar. Part tikki, part pirate, and part Beetlejuice themed. The bartender, Adam, was excellent. Nice, attentive, helpful. The steady stream of regulars were nice folks. A good selection of local craft beer as well as some good mixed drinks. Prices were great.
Had a great conversation with Bruce, a 91-year-old regular who was born and raised in nashville. Running into people like Bruce is just one of the reasons why dive bars are so awesome.

I’ve been here a handful of times, the experience with the working staff making your drinks and food has been cool, friendly and welcoming. I’ve never been in a bar fight, nor have I been charged with any legit felonies. I even had met with some friends to enjoy the food and music a few years back. Recently this past Friday I was told by the bouncer dude and forced to close my tab out with no legit reason which is Ironic because I have Pacific Islander ancestry. Still somehow got kicked out of this tiki bar though lol. Maybe it’s a bias towards lone ethnic dudes.

Best described as a ‘dive bar’ with good tropical (some tiki) drinks. Enjoyed the ‘Monkey’s Fist’. The ‘Mai Tai’ had stronger mint and lime flavors than I’ve experienced at other tiki bars, but it was great!

I stopped by for a quick drink but the doorman said they were a private club and wouldn’t let me in. I found out later this was a lie. I’ve seen other reviews saying they are racist against minorities, but I am white. I was also wearing a suit and tie, was this the reason? Apparently you have to look a certain way, dress a certain way, etc. to go in here. I should mention that the place was pretty empty too, only a few people at the bar on a Saturday night, 9:30 prime time. Gee I WONDER WHY! LOL!!

Very fun, vibrant, energetic spot! I stopped by here during a solo bar hop; it was really close to where I was staying. It was early Sunday afternoon and I actually had trouble finding a spot, but I ended up ordering at the counter and sitting right up front by the entrance/window. I was really tempted by their menu (they have some fun/entertaining options) but I ended up sticking with a glass of prosecco. Bartender was nice and friendly, poured my glass immediately- It was nice and crisp, chilled, just how I like it. I really liked the atmosphere here; loud, everyone having a good time. Next time I would probably try one of their cocktails.

Great cocktails and drink/shot specials. Can get a bit loud but its a small but neat bar. Booths and hightops as well as bar seating is available.

A punk rock locals spot with an interesting and fun menu and good drinks. The waitress was delightfully sweet. The music is loud and there’s an expansive smoking section which wafted inside a lot so it’s not a spot for everyone but we had a nice time people watching and enjoying tiki drinks. The painkiller was unlike any I have ever had before but it was good- just unexpected.
