Five stars. We had the pork fried pork chop special and it was very, very good. The lima beans were excellent, and the rice and gravy were spot on. Everyone at the table cleaned their plates, which says a lot. The restaurant is huge inside with a comfortable layout, and the service was excellent from start to finish. They also offer a nice vegetarian selection, which is a great bonus. We will definitely be back.

What a total disappointment. After waiting 30 mins. for 2 take outs only to find, when I got home, the pork chop platter was Nothing like it used to be. Paper thin pork chops (with lots of breadding) so I basically just ate hard fried flour/batter. Where’s the meat?? And, very overcooked! I specifically asked for just done, not cooked hard (like they typically do). Pork chop platter used to have decent thickness of chops & WAS always good..not now..horrible, disappointing, expensive for what I got. Will not go/order again. Cake slices MUCH too expensive..$10.00 a slice is absolutely ridiculous! We’re in Georgetown for God sake, not some high end restaurant in Beverly Hills.

Overrated on every level. The burger was a new low as hyped as this place is it was a burger … how do you ruin a burger? Just walking in seeing plates of food I knew right away this place is a stomach ache waiting to happen hence ..the burger! My husbands plate was nothing to write home about either, I mean I get it it’s old school tin can number nines kinda homemade if that’s what your into. But that burger deserved better the poor thing was so thin and stale I felt for it. RIP BURGER

The food here was outstanding. For just a few dollars, you get a basket full of fried mushrooms. Those mushrooms were so good. Excellent value. I would have expected it to cost a lot more with the portion they gave us. I ordered the hamburger steak with onions with seasoned vegetables and mashed potatoes and gravy. Awesome Awesome Awesome!!!! My friend had a fish sandwich and she praised the taste as excellent. She almost couldn’t eat it all, and I did have to get a ‘to go’ box. Fixing to have left overs right now.
The service was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for better. I cannot wait to go back and have lunch again and I bet the breakfast is just as good.
All of you HOG riders, you should stop in Georgetown and have some food here. You’ll love it!!!

My wife and I are new to Georgetown(1.5 yrs). Ball and Que is a mainstay in our culinary life. Quality food with ample choices. The service is amazing . The best part though is the atmosphere. Everyone is welcome and everyone enjoys each other. It’s as if the best of small town southern culture has chosen Ball and Que to show off in. In business for 55 yrs. Hopefully will go on for many more. My favorite is Monday lunch( country style steak) but every day is good.

Mad I spent 18 bucks plus a 3 dollar tip on this plus the waiter seemed like she didnt want to be there, took our order while her head was resting on her hand. Maybe that’s why the simple order got messed up. As stated in previous reviews, people hype this place up. Disappointed.
