Came for a night, and had an amazing time! The service was prompt and friendly, with our server coming by multiple times asking if we needed anything. The food was brought out quickly, and it was truly delicious. Ordered the pineapple duck with the beef Popeyes special, and they tasted divine. Perfect portion sizes to share with friends. If I could give Siam Orchid more than five stars, I absolutely would. This place is not just a restaurant—it nurtures my soul (and stomach). Want to celebrate? Eat at Siam Orchid. Need a comforting meal? Siam Orchid. Don’t want to cook? Siam Orchid. I could genuinely eat here multiple times a week (and I have).
The food? Always amazing. The flavors? Consistently delicious. The service? They might as well be family.
Let’s talk about one of my go-to orders: the chicken Thai noodle soup. Around here, I call it “Sarah style” (yes, that’s me). I get it with fried garlic, broccoli, and the rich, comforting brown broth. Pro tip: toss in some chili flakes for a spicy kick that takes it over the top. It’s totally nom nom yummy delish.
The green curry is also amazing—creamy, aromatic, with just the right amount of heat. I swap out the bamboo shoots with carrots and it’s delicious.
And the noodle dishes? All of them. Doesn’t matter which one. You can’t go wrong.
End your dinner with the banana tempura and ice cream. It’s like a warm cozy hug in every bite.
I’m not exaggerating when I say my coworker and I once ate lunch takeout here five days in a row. (We were pretty proud of our streak). But if you dine in? You get two dumplings AND a soup of the day. The lunch special is undefeated.

Everyone and everything here is excellent. The restaurant is spotlessly clean. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent. They are great with gluten allergies. GF Basil fried rice is awesome. High quality beef, chicken and fresh veggies. One of our favorites!!!

Used to be my favorite place. I would go every week. The last 3 times I ordered online my order was not sent to the kitchen so I had to wait twice as long. The staff is apologetic and eventually gave me a refund, but until they can fix their issue with online orders I won’t go back. I shouldn’t have to wait 40 min for sushi. They also tried to blame the tempura order for the long wait. It’s a very lightly fried item. It shouldn’t take that long and the one they gave me was way too dark and burnt. Honesty goes a long way. If they told me when I walked in that they’re was an issue with my order not getting sent to the kitchen, I probably wouldn’t have been upset. Being dishonest is worse than making a mistake.

I have never had anything bad from Siam Orchid. My company loves to order them for office lunches. We decided to go to the for a holiday lunch where we were pleasantly welcomed by warm staff and a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend Siam Orchid to anyone who wants a genuine experience.

Awesome food I bombed my whole meal with a sake bomb (plum wine with sake) in a small decanter with ice in center. Great presentation. Then I had the sushi bong. Amazing.

I absolutely love this restaurant!! The owner and all of the workers are absolutely amazing. Everytime I come the food is so delicious and has such an amazing flavor. The menus is easy to navigate and they always have good specials to highlight new dishes to try. My favorite restaurant in Melbourne for sure!
