The Witching Hour had a cute and creative menu of burgers and hot dogs to choose from. I got the “King of the Monsters” burger and it was a solid burger – fries were definitely the winner of the night! Honorable mention was the “Candy Man” burger, sweet and savory! (Not pictured). Service was quick, but the team was not overly friendly. Overall good spot for a quick bite.

Hands down, the best burgers in NW Arkansas and SW Missouri. My boyfriend has gotten the Tarman the 3 times we have been, it is his favorite. I have gotten a different one each time. The Santanico Pandemonium, the Captain Howdy, and then the Bio-Eggsorcist. Each were fantastic! Their mushrooms are good on another level, especially dipped in their amazing ranch. And the fries! They season them perfectly, they are so so good. I also love their stickers! They always make me smile. It’s such a unique thing they’re doing and I’m so glad we found them. Truly an experience with amazing food!

While in Bentonville, Arkansas today, I finally decided to stop at The Witching Hour, a food trailer I pass by regularly and one that always seems busy. I’ve heard from several people that they serve some of the best burgers in the area, so I figured it was time to see for myself.

I was greeted immediately at the window, which is always a good start. I ordered their signature Witching Hour cheeseburger, choosing cheddar from several cheese options and having it fully dressed. I also upgraded to the chili cheese fries after being told the chili is homemade. Since I hadn’t really splurged on a meal this week, I went for it.

I was given a pager and sent back to my car, and in under 10 minutes my order was ready. I pulled into a nearby parking lot and ate there.

The cheeseburger was solid. It was cooked well, the vegetables were fresh, and the bun was nicely toasted. One cool touch is that they brand the bun with their logo, which is a nice visual detail (photo included). Overall, the burger was good—probably a bit above average—but nothing that really stood out as spectacular.

The chili cheese fries were topped with white cheese sauce, chili, and jalapeños. While they were good, I personally prefer a chili that’s a little more “soupy” for fries. This one was thicker and closer to seasoned ground beef, and the fries became soggy fairly quickly. I tend to like my fries a bit crispier.

Would I return? Yes, I would. They have a wide assortment of specialty burgers with different toppings, and I’d definitely be interested in trying another option next time.

Grub Score 7.5/10.0

Spooky, fun place with a solid theme — down to the music they play! Yummy burgers! Took a little long, but there was a lot to look at.

I had the candyman and my husband had the cheddar goblin. Absolutely DELICIOUS, fresh well seasoned burger patties! The bbq sauce was perfectly sweet and savory.
I loved the cool stickers and jolly rancher candy that came with our meals. The horror theme paint job on the truck was neat looking too. The stamp on the bun, very cool touch.

Incredible! One of the most delicious burgers we’ve had. The fries with white queso were perfect and had great flavor. The fried mushrooms were amazing! Perfectly crispy on the outside, while hot and juicy on the inside. The mac and cheese was next level as well. We absolutely loved the meal from The Witching Hour!

Best burger I have had in the state! Made to order, fries are amazing, and I love the theme! I also love the stickers I get with my order (it’s the little things like a Good Guy’s sticker that make me happy ). Tried the onion rings this time and they were good too, I’m thinking I’ll go back to fries next time though.

It was our first time here. We kept seeing it suggested on Google, and finally decided to try it; we definitely didn’t regret it! I had the Candyman, and it was delicious! A great combo of sweet and savory, the burger was cooked great, and it was very cheesy. My wife had the Cheddar goblin, and really liked it as well. The fries and onion rings were very good – my wife commented a couple times how much she liked the fries. We also ordered the goblin balls just out of curiosity; we weren’t a huge fan of them, but that was definitely just us, and we think our son would love them. We’ll definitely be back to try the other options on the menu and we’ll update this review if he tries the goblin balls!

Perfect food truck experience. Staff were so super nice! Easy parking, easy ordering. We waited maybe 20 minutes for 3 burgers and fried mac & cheese bites while there were a lot of customers around. The food was killer and fresh. Burgers were perfect and flavorful. Fries are god-tier and so so crispy. The fried mac & cheese bites(Goblin Balls) were the best I’ve ever had. We will be back soon!
