The owner personally walked me through the menu and explained everything in a way that made it easy to understand. He was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable trying new dishes.
The food was absolutely delicious. The shawarma was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Both the chicken and steak were so tender they practically melted in your mouth. The rice was flavorful, the salad was fresh and crisp, and the bread was warm and amazing. Every single item on the table was on point.
The customer service was outstanding from start to finish, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were so impressed that we went back just two days later—and the service and food were just as incredible the second time.
If you’ve never had Mediterranean food before, this is the perfect place to start. Highly recommend!
We will be back our next time in town.
Everything was hot and ready right on time when I arrived for pickup. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.
I will definitely be using La Kabob again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food and a smooth, professional catering experience.
I stopped in hoping for a quick, tasty bite during my 30-minute lunch break. This spot was just 6 minutes away, so I figured it was perfect. Unfortunately, it was anything but.
I ordered a sandwich and waited over 30 minutes for it—making me late getting back to work. During that time, I watched one group walk out after waiting 10 minutes without even being acknowledged.
Two other walk-ins placed dinner orders 10–15 minutes after me and somehow received their meals at the same time I got mine.
When I finally opened my sandwich, the first bite was burnt beyond recognition. I unwrapped it and was honestly shocked at how charred it was. It was unedible being so burned. I pulled it apart to check what would tear apart. I ended up heading in the opposite direction down 12 Mile and picked up fresh food in under 6 minutes.
This place showed zero respect for my time or money. Pleasant attitude, tipping—none of it mattered. I was handed a burnt sandwich with a straight face and there’snot a way around cooking and not knowing you burned/charred something.
If this is what its like when less than three people are there, I can’t imagine if it was actual traffic.
I’m not looking for a fix or a comp. That experience was enough. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere!!!
