We catered from Kurry’s Restaurant yesterday for my son’s birthday, and the food was absolutely delicious! The service was incredibly efficient – the owner was hands-on and diligent in overseeing everything, and the delivery was right on time. The food arrived fresh, well-organized, and beautifully presented.
All of our guests truly appreciated the authentic Indian flavors, and the spice level was perfectly balanced. Portions were also very generous. We will definitely continue catering from Kurry’s for future events and highly recommend them to anyone looking for delicious Indian food in the area!

We recently had lunch at Kurrys in Troy. We ordered Gongura Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Biryani. The food was really good. The biryani was especially tasty, it had great flavor and just the right amount of spice. We really enjoyed the meal and would definitely go back again.

Wry amazing packet for 20 ppl who we bought 8/22/24. Good amount of food and everyone at my work loves it. Everyone wants more to order and asking the restaurant locations.

4/25. Ordered few items after a while. Fried rice, kothu Porotta and lollipop came out decent. Gongura chicken went bad but offered credit at front desk. Not sure we can use it or not. Charging more for credit card or giving discount for cash still there. Not carried cash so end paying more with card
Had a chat with restaurant manager . He had explained what went wrong on memorial day and confirmed service improvements. Updating rating and comments to support local business. we will order again and update

We are regular customer for a while . Few things noticed lately and changing to 3 stars and will change it back once see the response and progress
1. Carry out packing has to improve . For $83 items all squeezed into one plastic bag. Curries spill and could have avoided with good packing . Call and share the photos to front desk but no response
2. Quantity of the meat was less as it looks like lot of party order and kitchen was hurry.
3. 5% discount offer for cash

All good but chef need to check the Kothuporotta . It cook like mixed vegetables fried and almost no Porotta. You can see the photo. It’s good if chef can check actually how to make yummy kothuporotta

AMBIENCE & CLEANLINESS – Not top of the line but decently maintained
LOCATION Right in Rochester Rd and bigbeaver teoy
QUALITY OF THE FOOD- we ordered chicken majestic, chicken fried rice, chicken curry and Naan .
VALUE for MONEY Not pricey and priced it good.
SERVICE server can smile service was ok but can improve but it’s typical for many Indian restaurant.

Food and service overall great . Chicken majestic and chicken Tikka masala good. Goat halim was just ok and taste little different. Missing few key ingredients but taste ok. Chef need to revisit this and opportunities for improvement Service was good

Wow what food this place serves! How did we miss this for so long living in Troy?
Went last weekend and visited again this weekend.
We tried Banana leaf pomfret, Subhani Chicken Biryani, Goat Sukka Bone-in, chicken lollipop wet , Masakkali Chicken Biryani and Chicken Chettinad in 2 visits.
Best was the meetha paan . Definitely recommend that and this restaurant in general for spicy Indian food

I usually prefer Kurry’s chicken kothu parotta over any other restaurant, but this time the experience was disappointing. The kothu parotta had a dominating garlic taste instead of chicken flavor. My friend ordered the mutton ghee roast biryani, which unfortunately was spoiled and had a bad smell. As customers, we value fresh and safe food, and it’s concerning when that’s compromised. We pay for quality and good food, and expect the same great taste and standards Kurry’s was once known for.

Took out a Quarter Tray Goat Briyani for first time! Good taste, great portion, quality and quantity! Customer service is at high end, Front desk lady answered all the questions without any issues!
Update 2024: I’ve tried family packs and quarter trays of all types of briyani at least 30 times. The taste has been consistently good for the past 3 years.

Best catering service in Troy. I’m really satisfied with their food and professionalism in my recent party order. Food was given in generous. I took delivery and it was worth it. Their team came, set the table and gave a hot box for extra food.

These guys are making us fool. I order chicken biryani and dum rice over the phone. They said it will take 40 mins and I reached 10 mins before. Front desk lady told your order is getting ready, after 15 mins I got the food. Literally it was not freshly cooked and no heat at all. Foods are not cooked today and I’m pretty sure it was cooked yesterday and slightly reheat and gave it to me. Worst guys…. I never ever visit again.. I would have given 0 star if allowed. Totally frustrated.

Chicken lollipops are the joke, they need to hire a better chef to make lollipops better or look outside how they are made.
Alternatively they can remove it from their menu.
And the special Biriyani – No masala or gravy inside it was so bland and red colored chicken pieces on top of it.
The other chicken biriyani is the only saving grace in the entire order.
It’s not a great thing to offer so many varieties in the menu which has average in taste for multiple items.
