Parking was on DOT ave and was busy . A lil hectic with the snow bankings .
The place had a good vibe . Clean . Some of the tables were small.
My father and I went here for Lunch . I got the Short Rib Grilled Cheese with fries and my father got their signature LMT Burger .
Short Rib grilled cheese was a bit bland and the grilled bread was kind of soggy . That being said it was still decent with a lil bbq sauce and I ate the whole thing. The fries were not good at all -both my father and I agreed on that one . They didn’t taste good and were cold . He really enjoyed the LMT . Said it was juicy and better than he expected it to be . Said he would def order it again if ever revisited . Maybe diff side tho .

My friend and I came in for brunch a today and sat at the high-top booths. The restaurant is small but cozy & welcoming. Maya was our server, she was amazing very friendly and attentive. 10 across the board!!!
I had the cinnamon French toast and my friend got the buttermilk sandwich, both were pretty good. Maya checked in at the perfect times and had such a great attitude. We’ll definitely be back to try more things on the menu.

I came to Lower Mills Tavern for a birthday dinner. The food average (6/10), lacked flavor, the portion sizes were small and, the staff were not the nicest. I’m not sure if our waitress was having a bad day but she didn’t come to our table for about 15-20 mins and we had to ask the host to ask her to come over. The salmon was undercooked even though I said well-done and I was a bit disappointed, I probably would not return to this spot.
Update: We finished our meal around 7pm and it took them a whole hour to get us dessert and the check. I would accept this if the place was busy but that was not the case. I am thoroughly displeased with my experience here, I would give this restaurant 0 stars for service if I could.

We come here all the time for Monday night oysters, and the drinks are usually solid. But last night our server decided to screw us twice!
First, she forgot to put in our pizza order. After 30 minutes she comes over like, “Oh did you guys eat your pizza already?” Ma’am… you KNOW full well you did not put in a pizza order.
Then she “rush” orders it and the wood oven pizza shows up with unmelted cheese and floppy, undercooked dough. Not cute.
Everything else was fine, but that service and that pizza were a hard miss.

Fantasy Guy
The service tonight was amazing. Sat with my friends and the waitress Ashley took care of us, and we could not have had a better time. She had the best recommendations and got us everything we needed. We finished the food and decided to watch the game at the bar. No volume on the game but Mike from the bar was awesome and we truly had an awesome time watching it with him. Can’t recommend this place enough, and my friends and I are excited to come back!

Bar staff were an absolute pleasure to talk too. Very friendly, funny, and outgoing.
The steak and eggs dish, they made the steak perfectly. Not overcooked, especially with it being flank steak, and just a great amount of seasoning.
Duke of Dorchester Spicy Tequila, I had 5-6 of them, highly reccomend. Expresso martini also a great choice.

Lower Mills Tavern was a great spot on a rainy day. Today was holiday and the menu was brunch items, and my food and drinks were so GOOD! I was really impressed by the one woman show Victoria. She was the host, server, and bartender and thru it all she was friendly, polite and on the move for the amount of people in the establishment. I say Kudo’s to Victoria and we appreciate you as an employee.

Very very pleased with every aspect of Lower Mills. Reserving a table was really easy, service was super quick, and atmosphere was fantastic (great Christmas decorations). The mix drinks are very good and they make them pretty strong, prices are standard for the area (which isn’t low) but they don’t overcharge. Food was also priced reasonably and very good, the coleslaw and pickles on the sweet and hot chicken sandwich was phenomenal. If I had to add some negatives it would be that I think they could give slightly larger portions but I admit that’s being nitpicky. Awesome place to grab some drinks and bites with friends or go on a date, definitely a 5 star review and I will be coming back.
Also would like to add that we went on a Saturday for the live music and Brian Sances put on a great set, very skilled musician.

I love their pizzas, especially the mushroom one with rosemary, arugula, caramelized onions and balsamic. One of the best pizzas with these flavors I’ve ever had. Food is consistently made from highest quality ingredients and so flavorful. Truly great compliments to the chef(s) and the owner for this. Burgers and salads are also fantastic. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
