Amazing little spot. You can tell everything on menu was carefully curated. Nothing was an afterthought, even the vegan/veggie options you can tell were very delicious, methodical, and deliberate. I am in awe. Will definitely be back to dine in! We got take out recently and the portion size, temperature, and flavor profile were the same. I appreciate the friendly and quick service. Best place for ramen in the area. The matcha IPA was a nice touch too!

Located in a shopping center, so lots of free parking. Less than 10 tables inside, but they also have patio seating available. Flavors were great all around. Portion sizes were okay, although I ordered extra noodles. The side salad and mini rice bowls with the combo were good too. Definitely worth coming back to.

Amazing vibes, service, and food. From the poke cones, to the tonkotsu ramen with pork belly, and finally the salmon poke rice bowl, the meal was superb! We also ordered the chicken karaage, and it was incredibly crunchy with an insane sauce that left you wanting more! This is now a must-visit every time we pass through this area!

Tall slender guy with glasses is always my waiter. Super nice guy. Food is extremely clean and fresh tasting. I never feel heavy after ramen here. Underrated spot in my opinion. Great broth. The noodles are thin (not my personal favorite) but still good. They give you free pickled cabbage to start.

A fun little spot to stop by and get some delicious ramen if you’re in the area. They have clearly marked vegan options on their menu. This includes fun appetizers like vegan wontons and two different vegan ramen bowls. The Tan Tan Vegan ramen, in particular, is super tasty and packed with veggies. The staff was kind and attentive and the atmosphere, while cozy, can still sit a good number of guests. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great place with a nice interior and delicious food. I especially liked the tonkotsu pork ramen — the meat was tender and flavorful, and the broth was rich but not greasy. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Had lunch at 1:30 on a Sunday, the place was full but space outdoors (with heat lamps) or inside with a 5 minute wait.
The staff were super friendly and professional.
Ordered the wontons to start and they were amazing. Clearly made in house, cooked to perfection with crispy brown surfaces, and with lime/onion toppings that perfectly enhanced their flavor.
Then the Tan-Tan ramen which was equally delicious. Perfect spice level, broth bursting with flavor, good meat, noodles and other toppings. Loved the side of pickled cabbage too!
Highly recommend this place.

Tan Tan Pork Ramen Straight up, the best ramen spot in town. The fact they offer fresh raw fish is an even bigger perk in my book. Sushi and ramen! I only gave 4 stars for service BECAUSE they are only open until 8pm on the weekdays which sucks. Message to the owner: PLEASE STAY OPEN UNTIL 9pm 7 days a week. You have a lot of people who come and are let down with the locked door. Other than that, 10/10.

I had the tokantsu ramen to go and honestly don’t have a single complaint. The broth was creamy, they use good quality noodles, and the pork was tender. One of the best i’ve found in the US 🙂

I had a terrible experience at Kansui Ramen in Westlake Village. There was a male waiter at Kansui who was extremely harsh and demanding. Throughout the entire meal, he aggressively asked us to purchase more appetizers by claiming that the appetizers fed less people than they actually did.
At the conclusion of the meal, he shocked us with a hidden 18% included tip that we did not know about beforehand. He claimed that the cash register was broken and that we had to tip him $7 in cash. When we gave him a $10 bill, he pocketed the bill and refused to give us our change.
0/5 review for bad service. Would not recommend.
p.s. My friend ordered a Coca Cola to drink, and this same male waiter came around to our table and poured water into my friend’s Coca Cola. So not only did were we extorted out of $10, we had to endure a sad diluted Coke. Terrible day.
