Excellent afternoon here with a couple of friends. I had just finished a 2.5 hour morning hike so I was ravenous and ordered too much food but there were no regrets honestly. I thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Their al pastor and chorizo & cheese tacos were excellent, and I loved the creamy seafood enchiladas. They honored my requests to make the margaritas a little drier for all of us, and they came out perfectly balanced. Definitely would return.

I came here recently and I had been wanting to try this place because it looked nice and close to my work. Seemed like a good place to be at for happy hour on a Friday. On this occasion my coworkers treated me. I will say the service was outstanding…our waiter Daniel was awesome and was very attentive the entire time we were there. I ordered the taquitos combo and unfortunately I was less than impressed. The shells were overcooked and so was the meat. The beans were somewhat dry and cold and the rice was okay, but cold. The drinks, in my opinion, we’re not good. I ordered a margarita that I could not make a dent in. The taste was just not there for me. I had a taste of a piña colada that my coworker ordered and that too was less than what you would expect. All in all, the ambience was good, the service was outstanding, the food and the drinks didn’t hit the mark for me. Oh, and the desserts, the ones we had, were fantastic. I may come back here, but not really sure.

We have always loved the local Tacos Por Favor and happy to see them open up a new sit down spot. The staff were super friendly. Vibes were great. Food was delicious, if a little pricey. The drinks were amazing though. It’s a tajin candy rim that would make dodger stadium’s miche blush. Great time and we will be back!

Great authentic mexican food, great service and great atmosphere. The food is delicious. I went with a group of ten last week for a birthday celebratation dinner and everyone loved it. It’s so great to have a TPF restauarant! The owners (famly business) operate several successful walkup / takeout places that are very popular among locals on the westside. We will be dining here regularly – we loved it!

Having lived in Mexico City for many years, I am very picky about the Mexican food I eat.
Mexico City’s restauranteurship is recognized among the best worldwide and I had lost my enthusiasm for Mexican food restaurants in L.A. because I wasn’t finding the flavor any more.
Today, though, we had a magical re-encounter with that old feeling one gets in Mexico City, of being pampered with exquisite food, a warmth, unpretentious ambiance and a unique tequila experience.
Executive chef Christian Sanchez and the restaurant managercame to the table to teach us how to enjoy “Fulanito” tequila shots (it goes down beautifully, don’t miss this opportunity)
We reached our gastronomic climax with a sensational, low-sugar chocoflan, a chilango classic.
Daniel our server rxcelled at making us feel at home.

Everyone was genuinely kind and accommodating, the food was very reasonably priced (for Santa Monica) and the interior was really lovely. We both had the fish tacos and they were excellent. So super glad that we tried this spot close to home and am looking forward to coming back to this adorable spot!

I’ve been a fan of other tacos por favor locations since I moved to LA in 2017 and was super stoked to check this place out.
We were seated to the adorable patio per our request and they turned on the heaters to make it extra comfy for us.
We had margaritas, tacos and queso fondue. Everything was delicious!
And the service – it was great! We felt whole heartedly welcomed – as if they been waiting for us to arrive! The server was also patient with our ordering – as it took us a while (had so much to catch up with my friend).
Will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone loving margs with their tacos.

Daniel, our server, was amazing!! Made me feel right at home and is the sole reason to come visit! Food was divine. Service was top of the line. Ambience was fabulous. 10s across the board!! (Happy hour couldn’t be happier!)
