Now under the name Luna Latin Bar with new owners, Catalina and Jesus. Victoria behind the bar mixing up drinks and shots. It’s been remodeled with a loung-type feel. Had a great time on Halloween. ♀️ .

Excellent dive bar, the people are wonderful and friendly! There’s pool tables and karaoke on Thursday and Friday night! I love this bar because EVERYONE is welcomed and comfortable here! Great booze prices too!

The Flope Bar & Restaurant is one of the only places in the region to get authentic Honduran food. I had the Pollo con Tajadas, which also came with a side of a cabbage coleslaw. It was fairly quiet in the afternoon and the service was good. Flope’s is a great place to try a new cuisine that can be a bit harder to find in the area. The food was so good, I got an order of the pastelitos to go. I’ll definitely be back to try their version of the traditional Honduran breakfast (frijoles, platanos, y huevos).

Came here with my family to celebrate Independence day in Honduras. First off, there’s nowhere to park. We had to park across a busy street to get to it. Menus had no prices on them whatsoever so you have no idea how much anything is. This is the first restaurant I’ve been to that had no prices on them. 3/4 of our family members ordered steak type dishes and I tell you what, all of them were WAY OVERDONE!!! I mean, it was as tough as rubber. I have no idea how they cooked it, looked at it and actually served it to us. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! When we went to pay it rang up as $98 for just four people!!!! They will double charge you if you want refills as well and charge $7 for a “dine in” fee. I mean what is that!!!!!???? It’s a sit down restaurant!!!!!!!! I absolutely do not recommend anyone coming here or you will be severely disappointed.

This is a new restaurant and they were so great. I got off work on a Friday night at 1130 and was STARVING. Mostly, everything was closed, but google had this place open. I called, and they said that they would stay open. When I got there, it was midnight. They said they closed at midnight, and I thanked them and tried to leave. It’s not cool to be at any place at closing time. They wouldn’t take no for an answer. I ordered 3 tacos, and they were amazing. Not to mention the people working there were so nice. Thank you very much!

Unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences in my life. Half of our group walked out after 95 minutes with no food. Arrived Friday at 7 PM with no other groups there. They close at 9. At 8:45 we asked and were told our missing orders had not been started yet. They had the remaining group sign their bills with pencil. The bathrooms were out of order with urine everywhere. This place was horrible. Would never recommend returning when we had high hopes to start. Zero stars.

I went there alone, late, after 9pm and after an arts event on June 8th. The Sope de Mariscos was superb. The wait staff were very helpful and the food was truly delicioso. Any negative reviews must have been written by addled drug addicts who have never had a good meal in their lives. I’m insisting that my son takes me there tomorrow for Fathers’ Day.

TLDR:
Pros – friendly staff; delicious and made-from-scratch Honduran cuisine (very similar to Mexican flavors); some vegetarian/vegan options available
Cons – slightly slow service; may not have everything on the menu available; you’ll want to brush up on your Honduran Spanish before coming in
I wasn’t sure about this place at first. It’s kind of a hole in the wall, which can go either way. Also, when we walked in about 1:30 on a Saturday, the place was completely empty. Hopefully, they get more customers regularly. Anyways, the staff were fairly friendly, but our waitress understood little to no English. I have no problem being waited on by people who are not native English speakers, but it seems an odd choice to have your wait staff not be able to take food orders in a primarily English speaking neighborhood. She had to come back to our table several times to clarify both me and my father’s orders, and she had to bring over a coworker, who spoke some English, to finally clarify everything. Also, they had a chalkboard sign out front with a Pacifico brand label on it, but they did not serve pacifico there (seemed odd). Final gripe, the same waitress never came back to ask us if we needed more drinks, took forever to get us the bill, and had to bring the same co-worker over when she could not properly work the card reader for the bill. It just seemed like they had the wrong person waiting tables that day.
Okay, now for the good. Despite the language barrier, the staff were very friendly whenever we interacted with them, the food here is delicious! They serve traditional Honduran cuisine, which is a new one for me, and reminded me very much of Mexican cuisine/flavors. My father was shocked at how good his steak was prepared, and loved the fried plantains! Even though, there was only one vegan option for me, it was scrumptious (I got the pupusas)! All the food seemed very fresh, made from scratch, and well prepared. Definitely check this place out if you are looking to change up your Mexican food fix!

The food was excellent but it is more Honduran and not Mexican. They do NOT have queso or guac. The service was superb and so was the food. I would definitely return and it was a very chill environment; I even brought my child. Only a 4star because of no queso or guac. Other than 10/10 will definitely return!
