Great little mom-and-pop restaurant with a warm, neighborhood feel. They recently expanded the space, and it shows—from the additional tables to the dedicated area for larger parties, the layout now feels much more accommodating. There are cozy booths for smaller groups and a well-organized pickup counter that keeps takeout traffic moving smoothly. It’s BYOB, but they offer a solid selection of espresso drinks, soft drinks, and teas to round things out.

We started with the mozzarella sticks, which were crisp on the outside with a nice, stretchy pull—simple but well executed. The chicken parm was a standout: tender cutlet, well-seasoned sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. The penne vodka was comforting and rich without feeling overly heavy, and the bread they serve is the kind you keep reaching for without thinking. The only miss for us was the tortellini; the flavor profile was a bit off and didn’t quite come together the way the other dishes did. Overall, the prices were reasonable and we’d definitely go back!

Honestly i paid 20 dollars for cheese ravioli that I just couldn’t eat. It tasted like it was a microwave meal and some bites made me gag. The lemonade? I have never had worse lemonade. Its like they gave me water with the store lemon shaped lemon juice. Over priced and genuinely disgusting. The oil had a metal tang and the bread was flavorless.

I saw this place recommended a lot on KS facebook page so we went after Longwood. I was so disappointed. I really try to leave honest reviews and I hate giving bad ones. I will say our server was very nice.

The oil on the table was not good. It tasted like vegetable/canola oil of some kind and not an olive oil. It had red pepper flakes and that was really all you tasted, cheap oil and red pepper. The bread was pretty good. I also was suprised they gave diner style butter that was prepackaged. I was expecting some sort of whipped butter or even butter in a dish. It feels like they cut corners.
The calamari was okay. Not super seasoned.

I got the seafood scampi and it was so horrible. The sauce was completely watery. It did not stick to the noodles at all and slid right off so there was no flavour. It was not buttery or good at all. It kinda just tasted like garlic water. The crab meat also did not taste like crab meat at all, it was very fishy. The shrimp was okay and the scallops were meh. I know the sauce is a white wine sauce but it was truly just flavoured water not sauce. It did not stick to the back of my spoon at all. My boyfriend’s dish was similar and the sauce was super watery. The prosciutto was also extremely thick, the thickest prosciutto I ever have seen. It was very salty. Neither of us ate very much. We were very tired after a long day at longwood. I did consider asking the waitress if we could speak to the manager but because both our dishes were bad we didn’t really feel like the kitchen would give us anything we liked. I also did not see a manager or anyone on the floor that looked to be overseeing and we really didn’t want to wait longer because we had to wait a while for our food.

After visiting Longwood Gardens, we stopped at Floga Bistro and I’m so glad we did! I have celiac disease, so finding a truly satisfying gluten-free Italian meal can be difficult. I ordered the Rustico with chicken and gluten-free pasta and it was absolutely amazing. I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a dish like that which tasted so good.

One thing that really stood out was the thoughtful service. When bread was brought out for the table, they brought me my own toasted gluten-free roll. That small gesture meant a lot. Usually I just sit there watching everyone else enjoy bread and olive oil, but this time I got to join in (I skipped the olive oil and used butter). It made the experience feel much more inclusive.

Great food, generous portions, and attentive service. If you’re gluten-free and craving Italian, this place is definitely worth a visit!

If you ever visit this exceptionally good restaurant, make sure you ask to be seated with Dimitra as your server. She is awesome. We had dinner Friday night recently 2/28/26 for a romantic date night. Both of our meals were impeccable. It’s BYOB, so if you forget your bottle of wine the Giant Wine & Beer Garden is literally a few steps away. Oh, breakfast & lunch, equally exceptional.

Great burgers and great service! My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and everything was great! Our waitress was very nice and attentive and our burgers were amazing. Also- be sure to get the homemade potato chips when ordering a sandwich or burger! They’re awesome. Will be coming back here soon! 🙂

The visit was delightful. Our first visit to Floga Bistro tonight. It was great we were able to bring our favorite bottle of wine. We started with very warm rolls we could dip in olive oil. Felt and tasted like they just came from the oven. Our waiter, a young man brought us a bottle of cold water with lemons and wine glasses. I loved that we had additional water without asking or waiting. There was no hurry for anything, a good thing. I ordered the Seafood Vesuvio and my wife ordered seafood capri. Both were steaming hot and delicious. We were very pleased with our excellent meals. All the desserts looked great but we were too full to eat anything else. So glad we stopped here for dinner. Plan to be back and try something else. Only small negative would be the noise as the place gets pretty crowded. But while a bit noisy it didn’t bother us. A great evening out for a delicious Italian dinner.

Such a gem of a place! We were attending a nearby event and were looking for a place to grab dinner. When we walked in, there were plenty of seating options, but by the time we left, it was PACKED!
The service was fantastic- our waitress was super nice and really attentive, coming over to our table multiple times.
The food was delicious! It truly gave the sense of homemade and the portions are huge. Go with an appetite or be prepared for delicious leftovers. Our food was hot (temperature wise) and extremely flavorful.
If my family and I are ever in the area again, we will absolutely be eating here again.
