A fabulous relaxed vibe. The food is quite well prepared. The bar serves lovely drinks and is a great place to dine if you are in your own and fancy striking up a conversation with other patrons. Honestly, this is one of my favorite places to dine. It has a locals feel, it is comfortable, not too fussy, and yet elegant.

The food was delicious! We had the rainbow trout and the pecan crusted chicken..10 out of 10. Prices were great, service and atmosphere on point. Will be back very soon! ❤️

OMG. The filet wrapped in smoked bacon was to die for. Mashed potatoes are over the top. Catfish was super fresh and so tender. A must have is the Tower of rings. We will def be back. It’s a must visit place. And yes try the fudge brownie for a delish surprise.

Love this place! The staff are super nice. The restaurant is beautiful. The food was excellent. Already returned for more after my first visit within 1 week. Both times I had a great experience.

Pet peeve alert – Automatically adding 20% gratuity for poor service. Ugh. Never refilled waters, or asked for our drink order, we had to wave down for dessert menu and no one brought the bill. The entrees were fine, but would steer clear of desserts. Enjoyed the patio seating and appreciated on site parking.

Sep-27: Nice ambience on the covered patio with fans. Dog friendly. Really attentive service. Mesquite grilled redfish (fresh fish of the day) had a nice char (a few areas of dryness), grilled shrimp pasta was very good with the shrimp also mesquite grilled. Cocktails were just ok. Reasonable prices for quantity and quality

We came around 5 pm in a weekday after school for a special treat for my daughter doing well at the school a block away with the same mascot. Place was empty but me and my kid were seated in the bar area. Main dining area was pretty full when we left. The blackened chicken pasta is actually minced chicken on pasta. Not actual pieces of chicken. And those small minced bits are not blackened. Super Dry. And no flavor. Not sure how they get away calling it blackened chicken. Honestly it tasted like a can of tuna fish dumped on spaghetti with some diced tomato’s sprinkled on top. And there’s no complimentary bread either for the pasta. Burger was ok. Definitely better but also not great. But the fries were just lukewarm. At the prices charged it’s a shame. Calling Gordon for a makeover.

Love this place and the food! The waiter was super friendly! The only thing I would change is the playlist. It’s Valentine’s weekend and there’s some very not romantic music happening!

Fabulous find in the Rice area! Lovely, quiet dinner with very friendly and helpful staff. The brie was amazing! The red fish special was tasty and well presented. Reasonable prices and a good selection of dishes to choose from. Parking is a breeze! For once, you don’t have to scramble to find a place to park – there seems to be plenty of space in the lot (visited midweek).

The Raven Grill will certainly be one of our favorite restaurants in the Rice Village area. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The food was excellent! We started with the smoked salmon deviled eggs and wow they were greMy husband had the meatloaf with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the cedar plank salmon with the potatoes and spinach. We had the carrot cake for desert. Everything was sooooo good. The service was professional and friendly. The restaurant was clean. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Houston. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.
