The biscuits and gravy were absolutely incredible. The biscuits were soft and buttery with just the right amount of flakiness, and the gravy had that perfect homemade taste — creamy, savory, and loaded with flavor. You can tell they don’t cut corners here; it tasted like something straight out of a family kitchen.
I also tried the cheese omelette, and it was fluffy, rich, and full of gooey melted cheese in every bite. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and just enjoy the moment. Everything came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked.
The staff was super friendly and made sure I felt right at home the whole time. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it really shows.
If you’re anywhere near Hillsboro and want a hearty, delicious breakfast, 62 Classics’ Diner should be your first stop. Between the biscuits and gravy and that amazing cheese omelette, you really can’t go wrong here.
The service was exceptional as well; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The diner has a charming retro vibe that adds to the overall experience. It’s clear that they take pride in their food and service.

Five stars, two thumbs up, and a standing ovation from my belly. Classics’ 62 Diner isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a masterclass in how to treat people right and feed them without requiring a second mortgage.
From the moment we walked in, it was like stepping into a warm hug wrapped in chrome and bacon grease. The staff? Friendlier than your grandma on bingo night. The food? So good I proposed to the bacon and eggs. They said yes. We’re registered at the butter station.
The prices? Let’s just say I didn’t need to sell a kidney to get waffles. Meanwhile, those high-end joints charging $3.50 for a thimble of coffee and $14.99 for a simple breakfast imported from royal pigs and chickens—take notes. Classics’ 62 serves up real meals, real smiles, and real value. No foam, no fusion, no confusion—just good food and great vibes.
I left full, happy, and with enough money left over to tip generously and buy my cats a celebratory can of tuna. Classics’ 62, you’re doing the Lord’s work—keep the coffee hot, the prices humble, and the bacon ready to commit.
My hamburger was pretty shy of filling the bun. But really can’t expect much these days anyway..
Parking was very limited. Bathrooms were clean. I’m sure if you’re in a wheelchair, there it’s a way to maker it work but it’s very small in there. Even with a server standing there taking a order we had to wait to get by.
