We were staying in the area and found this restaurant on Google Maps. The reviews were very useful.
As it was a Thursday evening, we booked a table just in case it was busy. There were a few people in the restaurant so at the weekend, it would definitely be wiser to pre-book.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing a good service.
Although there were only two of us, we bought extra food for the following day. We had poppadoms, 1x starter, 2x main dishes, 3x sides, 2x rice, 2 x naan, plus 2x beers, 2x glasses of wine. The bill was reasonable – considering how much we purchased. The food was delicious, well presented and served at a good temperature.
The restaurant is well lit, although we thought it was a little harsh for the environment. A softer LED glow would be more inviting, but that’s a personal preference.
The space is clean, tidy and nicely decorated with numerous tables that could accommodate large parties. The background music was set to a pleasant volume.
There is an outside area, perfect for al fresco dining or pre-dinner drinks. In the evening there is a patrons car park behind the restaurant.
The bathrooms were clean and well maintained.
I would highly recommend visiting Nawab.

Visited with some friends. Service was quick and friendly. The food was excellent. I had the chicken tikka vindaloo which was very tasty, and hot enough, but not excessively spicy. Naan bread, onion bahjis and meat samosas were all great too. Would definitely recommend.

Curry to rice to naan everything about the food is bob on. Not even just the food but the service too. All staff are very friendly and very understanding and always help when they can. I would be lying if I said it wasn’t the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. 10/10

Be aware if your order online, we ordered our food at 7, food had still not arrived by 8. When we phoned, we were told it would be 15 minutes. Another 25 minutes went by and we phoned again and were told it would be another 15 minutes. By this point it was almost 9, and when we asked for a refund they refused and told us to phone the next day and then hung up. We never received our food and will NEVER order from here again.

Well this place , staff and food deserve a massive WOW! Absolutely beautiful food, so tasty & fresh and can tell its prepared with care. Staff were very polite, smart & friendly.
So glad we decided to try this place, even though we got takeaway we will definitely be back for takeaway again & also to have a sit in meal.
Can honestly say its the best Indian food we have ever had.

We called in at lunchtime on Saturday and pre ordered a take away for 6.30, in spite of 2 phone calls where we were told both times it was on the way it never arrived until 8.25. I find the dishonesty such bad customer service. Was much too late for my parents in their 80’s to eat it. Having eaten here so many times before we will no longer be customers
