I’m out this way and rolled up on this spot and I think I found a winner here. I got the Smothered Turkey Chops with mac n cheese and greens 9.3. First off, the smothered turkey chops were phenomenal no complaints from me as I got 3 decent size chops cover in that gravy was pressure. The mac n cheese was cool nothing crazy but solid thou 8.4 and the same of the greens as well 8.4…just well prepared and didn’t take away from the overall meal. I washed this down with some of their Kool-Aid ngl this was pure crack I which they served this in a larger cup…they are making these like I was at the crib or something 9.6. Overall customer service was ok bro taking orders and getting those orders out not mad at it…it’s a bit of a wait to be prepared 9.3.

I can’t believe how many times I’ve passed this place! Glad I stopped today!! I ordered the smothered turkey chops dinner & it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The chops were tender & moist & the mac & cheese was amazing!The owner & his son are friendly & made a great recommendation for my meal. I went back the next day. Consistency is important! I ordered the Cajun Stuffed Turkey Leg, Jerk Chicken & Shrimp Alfredo & fried wings. Everything was AMAZING! This is my new go to spot! I’m telling you, GO TO CAJUN SOUL! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!! They understood their assignment & they do it WELL!

I live close to this place, I saw it on the Black Foodies, I was like wow a new restaurant. Last week I decided to check it out, I walked in place my order for chicken wings, mac & cheese and greens, it was a 15-20min wait. The wings were good but very small, mac & cheese was decent and the green had the vinegar and sweet taste which was fine, they didn’t have the sweet potatoes cornbread that was disappointing. What I really didn’t like while sitting there waiting on my food, was all the people and children going in and out of the kitchen area. One came out eating another was pulling her braid while on her phone, it started looking a little ghetto. Why can’t they bring the groceries for the restaurant to the rear or side of the building? I felt why is sooo many people walking back there. This place is VERY small, I know what it looks like behind the black curtain, I’ve seem 5-6 businesses come and go from this location since 2015 and non lasted more than a year. I want to support this black own business. But all that traffic walking around back there is not a good look in my opinion. If there not Cooking they shouldn’t be back there, it’s a sanitation issue for me. The lady who took my order was very pleasant and even offered me a drink. I will probably be back and hopefully not see that type of activity with people coming and going from the kitchen area. Sorry for the long post.

Ordered the Jerk Chicken Alfredo…and this is what I received. Everything about this meal was terrible. Noodles were dry, sauce had a sour funny taste to it, no chicken. I was so excited to try this place and was let down tremendously. I won’t be back.

Ordered online. Went to pick up, the guy at the register discussed cornbread and the size and cost to only let me down and say there is none. Food was not ready because “gravy had to thicken”. I ordered chicken and shrimp stir fry…it’s like soup! It’s huge pieces of chicken and jumbo shrimp SWIMMING in gravy, jerk sauce, HUGE raw crispy bell peppers, and get this gardinera! No onions, carrots, veggies, they dumped hot oeppers for an Italian beef in the stir fry soup!!! This is a struggle meal. I paid 27 DOLLARS for soup! And the amount of sodium. My GOD! Co worker ordered smothered chicken…it’s over cooked wings from Sharks dumped in turkey gravy. The pictures don’t lie. You all should be ashamed and need to do better. Money is hard earned and hard to come by. Make suitable and appropriate meals. You all should stick to basic babas type food. Burgers, dogs, chicken, pizza puff, can pop.

I really should have paid more attention to the bad reviews. Front desk on the phone, playing in their braids, and forgot 1 of my sides that came with my meal. So I paid $20.00 for this picture. And if my order was right, I would’ve given a great review.

My son and I love, love, love this place … I have damn near had everything one this menu except lamb chops but my son had them … amazing … like everything is amazing and I’m very funny with food … the owners are very nice … like super nice … the food and I mean you can’t go wrong with nothing on the menu and they got Kool Aid … great portion sizes for the money … golden gem I promise

I got the jerk chicken Alfredo. When I say disgusting chileeee DISGUSTING. Omg , taste like throw up. Literally had TWO pieces of chicken in there & some macaroni type of noodles. I am appalled & I feel disrespected. Waste of money ‼️‼️‼️

The man behind the counter that took my order was very nice. I have no complaints about him. The food is my issue. The chicken Alfredo was horrible. The noodles were dry. The sauce was a bit too thick and extremely salty with a nasty aftertaste . The chicken was dry also. The dish was over seasoned. The fried green tomatoes were just ok but something was missing not to mention they all fell apart. I was excited to try the food there but am extremely disappointed. Almost $50 wasted. I really should have checked the reviews first!

Yeah, the food here is really good. I had fried chicken wings, collard greens, and their spaghetti. Everything was good. I also had their sweet muffin which was delicious. I will be coming back again.
