They were kind in answering questions. They didn’t include my receipt with my food bag. I use the receipt to reconcile my credit card balance ahead of my bill in an ongoing basis. It was about 4:30 PM wen we went through. The Monday night special, 10 pieces I asked for all dark meat. Dark meat is more moist, and their white meat is just as dry as an other place. I have trigeminal neuralgia and have a hard time chewing with one side of my mouth and dry meat just balls up and I have a hard time swallowing through the left back side of my throat and tongue. Having a cold right now makes it even harder to eat. Not that I am starving by any means, but still. I asked if they could do all dark meat, and he said he couldn’t promise all dark meat and it was either acquiesce to that or nothing. I figure I’m probably paying extra for all dark meat. There was once breast, and it was awful. Other times we’ve been through there and we asked for it and had not trouble getting it. And I hate wings. They are more bone than meat and it’s just a cheat for my money, IMHO. I will say we didn’t get wings. But their drumsticks were really dried up, the skins were slimy. I don’t like to eat the skins as it is because it has a lot of fat in it.I’m after the softer meat. In some places, bunched up gooey and crispy in others. I’ve had better from them before. Disappointed tonight. Oh and the piece de la resistance? A small side was only a half cup. OMG. I have NEVER received a half cup serving size for a small before. Maybe that was the reason why they didn’t include the receipt. I knew and they knew I knew I was paying extra for the sides. Disappointed enough to not go there again. Back to KFC, even though they are more expensive.

This is the first time I have had Lee’s Famous Chicken and it was pretty good. I had ordered for a family event and it was on time so job well done. We spent about $100 to feed 10 adults.

Behold the WORST chicken restaurant of all time. The food is horrible, the chicken is always mushy for some reason, the only thing worth eating there is the mashed potatoes and even those arent great. The food costs a FORTUNE for slop. The inside always feels grimey. And overall just a waste of time and money. And its not just this lees ITS EVERY ONE OF THEM. If you want chicken on the fly, go to KFC or Chic Fil A dont go to Lees!!

The worse lees chicken ever Melissa and the manager are the most unprofessional rude people I have ever met, they give you whatever they want to give you that’s sitting around old , hair was in my box, meat was extremely dry, try to go in and get fresh chicken they said they didn’t have any chicken ready or only was it old but it was not the chicken I even ordered , and they wasn’t going to refund me anything or replace anything after they made a mistake and argued the entire time and was very snotty and racist. Don’t recommend I ended up calling the police . I’ll be calling corporate as soon as I get home. I hope they learn how to treat the customers they keep them employed with their hard earned money. This is very disturbing and disgusting to treat your customers this way for your mistakes.

The food is decent for the price. Portions are fair to very fair. They seem to be using part of the dining room as storage for paper products…. cups, to go containers etc. I eat here two to three times a month and go through drive thru at least once a month for dinner. All the workers are friendly and keep the place clean.

Who doesn’t love fried chicken!? But, if you haven’t tried the Famous Recipe, you’re missing out. Fremont, Ohio, has the best Lee’s. The staff is superb, and when I open the door, my order has begun. Shazam!

Smiles, friendliness, and a sense of community is what I experience when I find myself inside the walls of Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken.
As long as I can remember, I’ve always enjoyed a meal from this establishment. The chicken is always succulent, the pot pies are tasty, and I could swim in a pool of their coleslaw (do not try that at home, trust me … ). But that’s not all.
I never need to wait on an order and I do not feel second rate when I walk into the restaurant. The manager goes as far as to always offer me a drink when the temperatures are high. In fact, I always say, “Sure! If you are offering, I’ll take a water”, in which the manager responds, “Are you sure? Your choice, you can have whatever you’d like [paraphrased]”.
The sense of community and watching out for your fellow citizens gives me goosebumps. Which is why everytime I receive an order for Lee’s, I either say, “Yes!”, or smile.
Whether you are a local or an out-of-towner, I highly recommend supporting this wonderful business and the workers who make it all happen; you will not be disappointed.

8/24 at 7:30 pm. Waited in line for close to 25 mins. Line out to the street.. went to order a large Diet Pepsi and was told they were no longer selling just drinks… WTH…I’m st lees 2 to 3 times a week ordering food or drink…Never heard of such a thing. …. Truly hope this was a mistake…
