We visited this restaurant for a friend’s gathering. Although I didn’t make a reservation, they accommodate walk-ins, and the wait was not too long. The salad was refreshing and balanced, and chocolate cake was smooth. But the steaks were all overcooked. The ribeye was burnt and bitter, and the waitress offered a replacement that was much better. I had high expectations because of friends’ recommendations, but the overall experience was just okay.

One of the go-to restaurants in the area to celebrate special events, or to just enjoy a high-class meal. The filet mignon was cooked exactly to my liking and the sides were a great complement to the steak. Kelly’s is also one of the better seafood restaurants with plenty of options on the menu. Finally, the desserts were excellent endings to the evening. Great service, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices for the quality of food you get. Plenty of parking. Reservations recommended.

First, I have to say we went on a non-football weekend. All the dishes were very well executed with balanced flavors and quality ingredients. The prices were extremely reasonable, and the portions were properly sized. The staff were well-trained, polite, attentive, and prompt.

Kelly’s is hands down our favorite dinner spot! The steaks and seafood are always incredible—so consistent and full of flavor. And the lobster Gouda steak sauce? Wow. It takes everything to the next level. You can tell how much care goes into every dish. The owner is always there, working hands-on and making sure everyone’s having a great experience. We seriously love this place!

Finally made it here. Ordered the New York strip, probably one of the best steaks I’ve had. Lots of flavor, the garlic mashed potatoes and veggies were delicious as well. And don’t forget about the s’mores old fashioned, very good drink! Will definitely be back. Call ahead and reserve a table!

Kelly’s is a Boalsburg staple for good steak. They always have very friendly service. They have a good selection of meats and seafoods on their menu, with plenty of tasty salads. If you’re not feeling the pricier steaks, their sandwiches are also delicious. I recommend their filet and halibut cheeks for sure, their blackened salmon is also quite tasty. I’m a big fan of their spicy margarita as well. I would also recommend making a reservation for the weekends as they can get quite busy as the evening progresses. Overall a great local restaurant.

Wasn’t impressed. Steak wasn’t prepared properly. Had to send back. Still not done. Stuck in a room with no personality. Server was about the same. Maybe a bad night. But for a place the has a cow on its roof.. they sure are very bougie/boooojeee..

Make reservations! This is a lovely place and very popular, so I would recommend making reservations which you can do very easily online. We showed up 30 minutes early for our reservation because we were just going to sit at the bar and have a drink or two but they actually had a table ready for us which was really nice.
Pros:
– positive and friendly staff
– food was delicious
– easy to find parking
– not over crowded
– drinks were delightfully refreshing (the blueberry margarita was perfect!)
– food came out quickly and was cooked well
Areas For Improvement:
– as far as decoration is concerned I feel like there is both inside the restaurant that makes it stand out. It just looks like any old place. But if this place has something distinct about the decorations, I feel like it would really be a stand out. I also feel like the carpet in the place looks a little old and must be hard to keep clean.

We had the M.Y.O boil with 1/2lb of shrimps and 2 lobster tails and snow crabs. It was, by far, the worst one we have ever eaten. We’re traveled the world to over 50 between the 2 of us and as a couple who came here to spend our anniversary over a good meal, we were extremely disappointed with the food. The seared ahi tuna appetizer was good especially the sauce though. That’s a must try! But i would say pls avoid the boil

Came in for our first time ever after a Penn State football game and had a wonderful experience. Had a slight wait as we did not have a reservation, but we will make reservations going forward. First and foremost, the service was excellent. We were very well attended to and everything came out at a great pace. The cocktails I had were very good! We shared a couple appetizers (the calamari and the
