This place has something for everyone … I’m sober and enjoyed the cutest little mocktail … average pricing with big portion sizes only thing I wish is they put some gravy and or a little pat of butter on the mashed potatoes too…mashed we’re still good without but I love gravy soooo I ordered a side to go with my take out! otherwise everything was amazing would highly recommend and will be back!

Server was slow and wasn’t busy for a Saturday morning. My food was good, biscuits and gravy. Member of our party ordered the stuffed French toast, 40 minutes later the server told her they were out. Luckily they had games and coloring books for kids to pass the super long wait.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a hole in the wall restaurant on an off chance that blew me away. Just happen to be in the area and chose the place by name with no clue as to any reviews. After enjoying the environment, friendly staff, and excellent food. I have to say that I am grateful that I landed at this place. The brunch burger was amazing and the biscuit and gravy sauce is just amazing and definitely in the top 5 of the many places I’ve had biscuits and gravy. Kudos to the staff and owner for creating such a great place!

The Birdhouse is a really great neighborhood spot serving up classic American food! I had been meaning to check it out for a while and it did not disappoint. Their food and drinks are tasty, but I was particularly impressed by their outstanding service and the cool, retro atmosphere.
When my partner and I initially arrived there was only one server for the whole of the restaurant (and it was pretty busy), but she was super nice and did an amazing job taking care of all the tables. Another staff member arrived later during our visit and she was also wonderful—plus the two of them together had great teamwork—so I feel confident in saying the staff here are great. Additionally, contributing to the experience as a whole, I really loved the overall ambience. The retro decor was really attractive and gave the space a comfortable and homey vibe.
Beyond this, their food was very solid—I like the creative twists on some classics, like the French onion grilled cheese I tried. The pot roast on this was really good and the cheese was the perfect melty texture. Plus, the portions were very generous and a great value for your money. Additionally, they had an extensive drink menu with fun seasonal cocktails, which I always love to see. I tried one of their winter warmers and it was very nice. I also noticed they have a happy hour on Sun-Thurs with some excellent deals so I’m looking forward to visiting again soon to check out this menu.
Overall, I think The Birdhouse is a great spot and I recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

What an adorable little place! I loved all the plants inside. It was very warm and inviting. We went for lunch on Saturday at 12:15 already knowing what we were going to order. Unfortunately, we were told we could only order breakfast & they didn’t start serving lunch until after 1 PM. The breakfast was fine, but it’s hard to make eggs special. I got the egg and sausage croissant which was okay. Portions were good. I wanted to rave about the cheesy brussels sprouts that we were unable to order.
I have 1 request. If you want to serve breakfast until 1, that’s fine, but at least offer lunch starting at noon. Please.

Perfect place for brunch with family or friends. The atmosphere is perfect for food and drinks, the bar has a large number of seats, and the restrooms are clean.
The menu is big and has a large variety of options.

We are in the area once a month for club meetings. We have always gone just down the street for here but this month the usual watering hole was closed unexpectedly for some reason even though online said open. So we peekd into here. We were greeted by an amazing smiling you lady. She did all but take us right by the arm and invite us in. We are a host of characters to say the least and whe had us covered with no problems. There was plenty of room for us all at one table. We missed the kitchen hours which happen often but I did have a lovely conversation with her about the venue. We enjoyed our drinks and even had my favorite Jameson in a big boy glass!! The cooks came out as they had finished cleaning up and we’re just as nice as the young lady. We closed the place down and we’re told “stay as long as you like I’ll just clean up around you if you don’t mind” we loved it and will be back for sure 🙂

Great little restaurant! We went for brunch on Valentine’s Day. As others have mentioned, service was a little slow, as everything was made to order, but we we expecting that. Our waiter was super nice. And the kitchen quickly adapted to making strawberry pancakes at our request after we found out they were out of blueberries. We’ll be back!

We have been ordering from here almost every other week for a while now. When they do everything right, the food is really good. However, they are not consistent. At times, the smash burger was undercooked. Other times, it was great. We noticed the past two times, the smash burger appears to have been a frozen patty. This last time it smelled and tasted freezer burnt— making it very obvious. Paying $16 dollars for freezer burnt food does not sit right with me.
