We tried their Margherita slice and thought it was ok… lacking a bit of flavor. Their Cheese slice hit the spot though so stick to the classics here. The crust is super edible and cripsy always
Garlic knots were not baked just kept in owen for formality and was cold.
Also I just don’t understand why 2 of the guys were making fun of me when I enquired if they have meat or not. I just wanted to be doubly sure. They should respect that. Hence cutting a star for the cold knots and this behaviour. Be humble Sirs
I asked for 2 slices. They are not cut the sime size but they still charge the same.
I posted a picture to prove my point.
I asked questions and they didn’t answer my questions. 3 people couldn’t answer. The man at the register didn’t give me a receipt until I asked for it. Finally he gave it with an attitude.
Fortunately there are hundreds of Pizza places, since I’ll never return.
(I want to add real quick the difference between the Sicilian Red and Sicilian White is the red is pizza made a little backwards. Instead of bread-sauce-cheese its bread-cheese-sauce. White is traditional bread-sauce-cheese)
I ordered the Sicilian Red and the traditional pepperoni. They place what you order in one of many oven doors and bake it on high (when it’s done they call your order not your name).
I came up to receive my order and the man holding my pizza said “Oh I didn’t forget about you!” We both laughed and I turned around to search for a place to sit.
The Sicilian Red pizza I didn’t think I’d like as much as I did- granted its a deep dish slice and it wasn’t heavy at all! I ate a couple hours prior to eating here and I could eat another slice. (I’m also 6 ft tall with an appetite so heed my words as you wish lol)
Its mildly sweet with a mild robust tomato flavor, definitely recommend giving it a try!
Last but not least the pepperoni- classic right? But there was something different about it compared to other pepperoni pizzas I’ve had. It had a slight sweetness to it with a bit of extra breading under the slice for texture. Crust was crispy and the slice itself was light too.
Overall, I wasn’t disappointed and for under $20 in NY you can’t beat it!
