We were all wanting pizza so after doing some googling we found Double Dave’s. You walk in and order at the counter and then they bring out the food.
We ordered 2 large pizzas (1-cheese & 1-pepperoni) and cheese bread. The kids devoured the cheese bread before I had a chance to get a photo. It was incredible, however the pizza was…..not.
The pepperoni pizza tasted like the pepperonis might have been sour. The cheese pizza was okay, but we didn’t like it enough to come back to this place.
The lady that took our order and brought our pizza was NOT friendly.
Our kids usually take down 2 pizzas no problem but we left with an entire pizza.
I do not recommend Double Dave’s Pizzaworks in Round Rock.

Oh, the pizza rolls!
There’s something uniquely GREAT about the pizza rolls at Double Dave’s. I don’t get it. Just pepperoni and cheese rolled up in hot-dog sized pizza dough “rolls.” Anyone can do it. Many places have. And no where else are they even close to as good.
The staff was cordial and efficient. They brought the food to our table when we didn’t respond to our name being called to pick it up (they don’t really have table service. )
They have a salad bar which was clean and fresh.
The tables that were unoccupied were cleared and clean.
Nice place to eat with family or friends.

My Mother wanted to eat at a pizza buffet. I could not locate 1 in Georgetown so we went to Round Rock. The food was very fresh. I loved the salad bar. Not big, but the cucumbers and salad were so fresh and having balsamic vinegar dressing was a bonus.
They asked my Mother of any preference for a pizza and it was on the buffet within 8 minutes!
Great staff. Friendly place. We will definitely be back. Thank you Double Dave’s Pizzaworks.

Among all the Buffalo Chicken pizza I’ve tried in many different pizza joints, DoubleDave’s top them all. While other places make it feel like there is a taste separation between buffalo sauce and chicken, DD’s version makes it feel like everything was infused together while the pie was baking, giving a different level of taste experience.
In addition, Pizza of the Month offers additional reasons for customers to keep on coming back.
July 2023 update: The place was a bit slow but the pizzas were great.

This is a great spot to get pizza. Prices are reasonable, and if you are Gluten Free, they have a cauliflower crust available in 10″ and will make any pizza on the menu with it. Alcohol on tap including Austin East Cider.

Really good pizza and variety, pepperoni rolls, Stromboli, dessert slices, and a great salad bar with artichoke hearts and hard boiled eggs! Lunch buffet is all you can eat and you’ll leave very satisfied (or stuffed!).

Had the opportunity to try a free 10″ pizza at DoubleDaves and i was very disappointed. The crust wasn’t cooked all the way, the sauce tasted homemade and fresh but had no flavor. Very minimal cheese that was placed very short of the end crust. Overall just bland undercooked pizza. The wings were decent. I do not see myself ever eating here again. I’m new to the area and still on the search for good pizza.

I LOVED this pizza! My hubby and I visited Double Dave’s today and it was fantastic. Even we believed the pizza buffet was all day and it’s only 1 hour daily, we were happy to order two medium pizzas and I couldn’t be happier. The service was very kind and the pizzas were fantastically fresh baked. My husband ordered the one with German sausage and cheeses (I can’t remember the name ), and I ordered the Margherita. I had the best dinner today Ps. They have good old music

It used to be Domino’s had the worst pizza. I think this place is new king of bad. Sure a buffet which is rare for pizza places, but the things were just not good. @ $15. No one even asked me what kind they could put up next. Only 8 people there for lunch time.
