One of our favorite date night spots — peaceful, scenic, and worth every visit.
My husband and I love coming to Rivercrest Lighthouse Marina for our date nights. We always grab a high-top by the windows so we can take in the beautiful view of the water — it’s such a peaceful atmosphere, no matter how busy it gets.

Whether the place is packed or quiet, we always have a lovely time. The service can run a little slower during high-volume hours, but honestly? It’s worth the wait. The staff is friendly, and the overall vibe is relaxed and enjoyable. And considering how unique the setting is, the prices are actually very reasonable.

It’s one of those places that feels like a hidden gem — scenic, welcoming, and perfect for reconnecting. Highly recommend!

Great location on the Ohio River. Good atmosphere for country music. Reasonable prices. Food satisfactory.

In addition to being on the water, since the new owner, everything has been improving as much as she can work on. Food has been really good, drink prices are reasonable, and more bathrooms! Love this place. Dog friendly!

Great open air bar right on the water, good appetizers too. Fried pickles, pretzel bites, southwest egg rolls.
The casual dining area is on the other side and enclosed but with windows overlooking the river.
We were there more for the vibe, the view and a beer or bloody Mary. Great service.
P. S. Great old country music playing

We tried this place because it is on an actual boat on the river. And the view was tremendous. It was fun to sit and look out on the water flowing past only 6 feet away. We were immediately seated and our order taken soon after, but, unfortunately, we were never served our food. I could go into the many excuses given by our server but the short story is that after being there nearly an hour (52 minutes per Google Timeline), we had to leave to make a tour time.

We sat on the top deck, wait staff was pleasant and nice. I ordered the Fish Basket, my wife ordered the Steak Sandwich. Her Steak Sandwich mediocre at best, the fish was the blandest tasting fish known to man, I’d stay away from it. Had no flavor other than burnt grease. The fries had no flavor either. I had to question myself if I had Covid due to the bland tasting food. Great view of the water though. Definitely not worth the $60 I spent.

I feel like this pace could be great with little effort.
CONS:
Small portions on food.
Not many items to choose from.
Pretty much everything is fried.
Very little selection in beer.
Waitress could have been better
PROS:
On the water.
Bar seating over looking the water.
Good music.
Bartender made strong drinks.

Typical bar type food. It was very fresh and hot when it came out. Service was kind of slow. It wasn’t really that busy and there was an hour wait for food at 130 pm. This is by no means bashing them. You should definitely try it. I would absolutely come here again. Just telling you to maybe not be in a hurry when you get here.

We decided to eat here when we learned about the “Ribberfest” and heard the admission price of $45.

This place has open seating, outside and in the bar. We opted to eat away from the bar since smoking was allowed.

The waitress “Holly” brought out menus and took our order, when ordering she asked for a name to keep our parties tickets separate. We had two checks

Party 1 ordered the fish n chips basket with 2 waters.

Party 2 ordered the chicken bacon club and fish n chips with a tea and soda.

The fish n chips was $15.99. It was very tasty, I worry about the amount of breading but this was lightly battered. The hush puppies weren’t the best, this also came with steak fries.

The grilled chicken club was $10.49 and upgraded to a side of frys for an additional 2.50. It was very good, we ordered ranch as a side for dip it never came out even after asking multiple times. We went and got the ranch dip but it tasted awful. Don’t get that ranch.

The waitress didn’t get us refills until we were done. When she brought our checks party 1 got the drinks added, party 2 didn’t get any drinks so she didn’t use her name system to keep the party’s straight.

We probably wouldn’t eat here again, it was a hole in the wall shop and it wasn’t too clean. Food was good.
