Had a great dinner here at this out of the way restaurant. One of the waitresses wasn’t a very talkative person but she served us well. It was well decorated for Halloween. The shrimp and catfish plates were incredible. A lot of food for the price. Highly recommend this place, support the local businesses.

It’s a relatively cheap Mexican restaurant in the middle of nowhere on a stretch of land you have to get on a boat to get to. IE: it’s freaking awesome. Cheapest and best date I’ve come up with in a while. $35 for 2 people and we didn’t leave anything out. Food was great, the service and people were very kind and while its a tiny hole in the wall, frankly, that added to the atmosphere, I felt.

The food is not great and the customer service from the staff is not friendly at all. I heard them scream out trying to stop a lady from using the restroom just because she wasn’t a customer. How can you be a restaurant and not have public restrooms? I witnessed a horrible experience and would NOT recommend coming here!

We had our 2nd visit yesterday. We arrived at 10:34am. I really wanted lunch, and my husband wanted breakfast. So we compromised. As we sat down, one of the 4 guys working brought our menu, and it only had breakfast items. I asked, and he said they could not serve lunch until 11 am. Which was kind of disappointing. However, I remembered their salsa from the 1st time we came and was content to eat that and nibble on the few things my husband was ordering. So I asked for chips and salsa and was told it would be an extra charge because it wasn’t lunchtime. So, heads up on that. The salsa is really good, so it was worth it to pay extra to have it 30 mins before lunch. My husband had a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and bacon. I had a few bites of each, and they were pretty good also.

Good old small town home restaurant. We had a shrimp poboy (tender and tasty!). And coconut cake.

Went for the first time yesterday. Oysters are in season and they have an unlimited oyster special running prepared 10 different ways. Wow! It was all delicious. I’ll be making this place a regular stop in Bolivar!

Wonderful place! You have to stop here if you’re in the area! The onion rings were amazing and their salsa was on point. Crispy beef tacos are the best on the island! The staff was very friendly and very observant and ready to serve.
