We have been meaning to try this place out for a while and everything was pretty good. My favorite dish was there beef jerky and I don’t think I got any pictures of that but the house special noodles and fried rice was really good. All the sushi was on point as well. It didn’t take very long in spite of how crowded they were.

Sushi House was packed last night when we arrived for dinner. I can’t say enough about how professional and welcoming the staff was. The hosts were working hard, clearing tables and getting people seated as fast as they could. The kitchen was putting out delicious food quickly and the wait staff was on top of it! Angie, who I think is the owner, was helping everyone out and even made us fresh egg rolls for our long wait. The food was amazing as always. Way to go Sushi House, we will definitely be back soon!

My wife and I came to eat here to try some different sushi in town. We haven’t eaten at the original Sushi House but wanted to try this one as the new restaurant that just opened up. It’s a nice quiet place. The staff is really friendly and the food was quite good and filling. The Frankenstein roll was especially good so I would definitely try that one. For a restaurant that just opened, they definitely have their stuff together. The staff was well trained and the food was cooked well. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some unique sushi.

Got sushi and it was lacking in the flavor as well as the rice. There were no sauces offered for the bland rice as well. I get it was carry out but whether it was carry out or dine in the flavor shouldn’t be affected. Might be good to some people, but me personally paying 80 bucks for 3 sushi rolls and 2 boxes of chicken and beef rice, I wouldn’t go back or recommend anyone who likes flavor with their food. Other than that it seemed like a nice place to hang out.

My wife and I got seated and waited at least 15 minutes for someone to come take our drink order. Another couple was seated and were waited on immediately. Received their drinks and still no one came over so we got up and left. Nov 8 th 2025

We ordered about $100 of sushi to be delivered via DoorDash to our AirBnB, as we have done in the past with this restaurant when we pass through Amarillo.
My wife placed the order through their direct website, chose the DoorDash delivery option, paid, and got a confirmation.
We arrived at our AirBnB and the DoorDash driver texted us to let us know the order was canceled, because the restaurant was closed for an event. – ZERO communication from the restaurant.
We called the restaurant the next day to request a refund and they denied a refund, saying it’s Door Dash’s job to refund it. We called DoorDash and they said the restaurant needs to refund it, because DoorDash doesn’t even get customer payment information, since they are just picking up an order.
We are now having to dispute the charge with our bank.
We will never order or visit this restaurant again.

Sushi House has delicious food from noodles, to Rice, to Sushi, and even pho. The restaurant itself is so beautifully decorated. The staff there is so welcoming and when you leave ,you will feel full, satisfied, and happy

We recently had a great birthday dinner with 10 people. Alyssa waited on us and she was amazing! We all got there at different times and she was very gracious about that. None of us ever ran out of drinks and she was just super friendly. My mom and dad were with us and are older and hard of hearing and asked her lots of questions as they don’t eat sushi and she took her time and walked them thru other options on the menu. The food and atmosphere was also very good but Alyssa really made the meal perfect!

This is my favorite place to eat alone—the bar has a great atmosphere for solo dining—and it’s also my favorite spot to bring my three kids. The staff is incredibly kind and always welcomes the little ones with genuine enthusiasm.
