Snagged a scotch egg and the cod n chips. Strongbow to wash it all down.
Cod was fantastic! Great seasoning on it. Batter was great and the fish wasn’t dry. Egg was also great. Chips… not much to say about em but they were fine.

I visited the Garage for the first time last month and was soooo happy that I found a place that had my beloved Scotch Eggs, The Harbour. I haven’t had them in years because no one compared to a spot I frequented that had closed due to Covid. Well, today I went back to order more. Two delicious orders later coupled with great beer and I confirmed with the delightful owner that THIS WAS THE SAME PEOPLE AND PLACE I LOVED SO MUCH, MacNivens. I’ll definitely be going back for more. Although I have an affinity for their Scotch Eggs, I can’t wait to indulge in other menu items as MacNivens always had great food.
I think its too bad that others would post negative reviews without speaking to them. The food is delicious – and everyone there is kind and talented. Thank you The Harbour – I will be seeing you again soon!

We decided to try a little something from each restaurant inside the garage. Hands down, this place was my favorite. I am from the South of France and I know my seafood. The quality of the shrimp was surpassing my expectations. The staff was super friendly and eager to answer any questions we may have. The atmosphere of the whole place was fun and comfortable. I will definitely be returning with friends. What a fun spot! I only ordered the appetizer shrimp, and it didn’t disappoint. I will be coming back for more soon.

The salmon and chips was great! Really tasty batter and a nice big piece of fish. The chips were good too, thick and well fried. Had a good local IPA to wash it all down. The lobster place across the food hall gets all the rave reviews but my wife’s meal was disappointing. Her lobster was dry and rubbery and the shrimp were uninspired. We both agreed the fish and chips at the Harbor was better!

Wonderful Scottish fare tucked inside The Garage. Exceptional service and cold draught beer. The Scotch eggs are crispy and perfect, but you must try the haggis puppies! Fluffy, crunchy, slightly sweet with amazing flavor, yet another example why Indy has the best food.

What a wonderful surprise in a food stall, Haggis Hush puppies were fantastic. Lots of flavor, the only thing missing was the snap of the stomach casing, but the flavor was perfect!
