The food is definitely good.

Salad: house salad was great and very refreshing. The veggies are crisp, cold and delicious and the dressing has the right amount of ginger in it. The avocado house salad is the same as the house salad with avocado slices on top. My only suggestion would be to cut the lettuce in more reasonable sized chunks. It was nearly impossible to eat it with chop sticks and not get it all over your face.

Shrimp: The shrimp tempura really needs a sauce with it. It is very dry and more breading than shrimp. The coconut shrimp is really good. Has plenty of sauce to shrimp ratio.

Chicken: tatsuka age – extra crispy but not overly breaded. The sauce has a sweet taste to it; teriyaki chicken – really good, love the sauce; Chicken Katsu – love the crispy chicken and the seasonings on it. The sauce I was. It a fan of. Reminded me of ketchup and BBQ sauce mixed together. I like the teriyaki sauce or the yakitori sauce ; yakitori chicken – served on a skewer. Alternating between chicken and onion. The sauce is honey based I think and was very good!

Tuna: tataki – one of my favorite things we tried. The tuna is served cold, with a hot sauce of some kind on it. We thought it tasted kike Siracha sauce. They more you are the spicier it would get; peppered tuna – amazing! Swedd with fish eggs on top and a cucumber salad on the bottom. The salad added a nice gentle sweetness. The tuna melted in your mouth. They buy quality tuna for sure!

Hibachi: we tried the steak and chicken. It had a nice flavor on the protein but it was too salty. The rice was seasoned just right and was a good amount. The veggies were both good and horrible. Some of the zucchini was so overcooked you could barely pick it up with the chop sticks. But the zucchini that was cooked well was delicious. As were the carrots and onions.

Dessert : tempura fried green tea ice cream was not great. The tempura was barely cooked and had a wet texture and hardly any flavor. The chocolate sauce was weird with the green tea ice cream; fried cheesecake was great. The tempura could have been cooked longer to get a better crispy texture, but paired with vanilla ice cream it was a good dessert

Honestly I don’t leave reviews. But I think this deserves a review. Got it delivered and no issues for time of delivery or anything. First taste. The house salad was not bad in my opinion. My wife said a little too gingery for her but it was good. The crab Rangoon was small to other Asian cuisine but I still had hope. I couldn’t get past the oily taste it contained. Like it was fried in old oil. It over powered any of the other tastes to be enjoyable. We spilt three rolls. The first two were normal rice rolls. They completely kept falling apart trying to pick them up. Their flavor was not as good from any other places we’ve tried before. I tried one of the fried rolls but again I could taste the oil it was fried in before actually being able to taste the roll itself. While that roll tasted decent the taste of the oil was too much. I didn’t eat there so I kept my review of the atmosphere a three out of five because I didn’t want to leave a negative review on that part because I hadn’t actually been there.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I had the all you can eat lunch special. It had a extensive menu, and I like the fact that it actually had desserts. The soup, the house salad, sushi and sushi rolls were delicious. I was glad to see that my favorite, hand rolls were available in many varieties of sushi. Looking forward to going back there in the near future.

This is the 2nd time I’ve been here and I brought my son. We came for the all you can eat. The menu has enough in each category that you can sample a little of everything. The person who waited on us was very courteous and was prompt in taking our orders. This place is much better than an all you can eat buffet! For the price, you get fresh made food, hibachi, soups, salad, and sushi. No worrying about the germs of the 100 people at a buffet, no hard sushi bc its been sitting out, no dried out meat. I think this would be a great and pocket friendly date spot! Would definitely recommend!

11/2025: Visiting in Virginia; while in town, I just HAD to stop for lunch!
For All you can eat, it’s definitely worth it!
4/2025: Came back to Virginia and had to visit this place again. You cannot go wrong here, it is so good. I tried Squid and it’s the best by far from any other places I have been. It was actually really tasty.

2024: First time there and it was really good. All you can eat; order off menu versus a buffet. I definitely recommend to try it if you are in the area. Before I go back to Michigan, I will be back!

The menu for the all you can eat is impressive and all for a very fair price. I have only gone for lunch but it has been amazing every time. Very fast service and tastes amazing. Highly recommend. They even have dessert included. We went right when lunch started so it was not too crowded, but it got more busy toward the end of our time. I am excited to come back

Ordered take out from here. The staff were friendly and attentive, I had a problem ordering online. The sushi was delicious! I also ordered the chicken hibachi, which I wish had a bit more flavor. But the portions were large and overall a delicious meal! I would definitely recommend.

THIS IS THE BEST SUSHI PLACE EVER! this is my favorite from all the places we have been! Super nice friendly people and the service is great. The sushi taste so fresh and great. The price is nothing to complain about, the lunch time is from 11am to 3pm for $12.95. They put the price $1 more a couple of month ago but I think is still great price for the food quality. The weekend is gonna be $13.95 for lunch. We’re going to miss this place and hopefully we can find another good one like this in Chicago.
