My friend and I walked in and got a lovely table by the window. The cocktails were creative and excellent. We shared 3 starters, and it was plenty of food for two people with smaller appetites. But the mains looked very tempting – next time!

Very innovative restaurants! The grilled cauliflower is sweet but awesome. 24-hour pork has a just-right texture and is perfect. The mochi cocoa dessert is flawless, with a good balance of sweet & salty, mochi & ice cream. Love it. The street view is lovely and service is very good

Moyuelo is a small, intimate restaurant tucked away on a first floor of a building in Puebla. My partner and I stepped in and were taken care of right away by a courteous and knowledgeable staff. We shared a couple of apps such as the crab gringa, the pistachio burrata and some crazy fries with a type of lemon bechamel I’m not sure what as my partner ate them all before I could count to 3. The dangers of having a place where they clearly know what they are doing is that you cant have food on the table and talk away as said food just disappears. Same thing happened to the postre that was incredible. We are planning to return and get a full meal. Bravo and hasta pronto!

Service was perfect. We got a detailed explanation of each dish and the waitress was happy to answer all our questions.
I can’t remember what it was that we were given on the house before our starters but it was delicious. It was a tempura for a vegetable I cannot remember the name now.
As starters we got the tongue carpaccio and a quesabirria. Both excellent.
I did not love my main. The braised beef was nice but it was a bit bland. I did not enjoy the hummus it came with. It was very lemony and in my opinion it did not marry the beef. The flavours were too contrasting. Also the dish needed some crunch. The other main we had was the octopus which was very nice but the portion was quite small.
For dessert we tried the peanut and corn. I did not enjoy the flavours of the dessert.
Presentation in all dishes was spot on. I think I was just unlucky in choosing my main. I would go again.

They have been in this new location for 2 years. Place is comfortable and modern. Cemita menu is diminished from the previous locación, there are not as many cemita choices available than before but still the cuisine is good.
As many high end restaurants portions are not abundant , but they compensate in taste.
It’s not a cheap bite but we’ll worth it.

Well sometimes 5 means 6. So far the best restaurant both in Mexico in this trip (and so far) . Cauliflower- I hope that I will be Abe to recreate. Aged cheese was so rich in taste. And I do not normally eat tongue but my daughter really want to try it and … it was VERY good . A bit more expensive then the normal Mexican restaurants but in US standards it it Michelin for the price of …. Way less

Different small place, tasty author dishes. Portions are small but appetizers are great. Music was a bit too loud but once the place got full they turned it down. Service was nice and a reservation seems necessary around Puebla lunch time (3PM).

If you happen to be in Puebla and looking for a gastronomic local experience Moyuelo will provide it. They Take traditional Puebla food to the next level without being pretentious. The high lights: “Taco de sesos” with grilled chipotle, The octopus with smoked “longaniza” (Mexican Chorizo) and the Beef tail stew with plantain gnocchis. The feta cheese and peach dessert was awesome. I recommend to pair it with the lemon and roses infusion. The cocktails are nicely prepared. Try the “Yolixpa Sour” made with a herbal local liquor. I’m sure this place will reach my five stars soon if they Keep going with the great service provided by the young staff who are happy and motivated and the culinary experimentations.
