This place used to be good. I ordered the Apollo with no feta but they added feta. I am vegan so I could not eat it. Also, there was a hair in my food. Disgusting!

Roots is a wonderful place to grab some food that is delicious and healthy! They have wonderful options and will also make your bowl to order with whatever you like. I often like the Mayweather, and some friends like El Jefe. We often take things to go (the inside can get loud sometimes, but it’s got a nice vibe overall).

If you’re looking for a healthier lunch or dinner option, this place is where it’s at. Fast accommodating service, fresh food, and great flavor. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but it was worth it…got 2 meals out of my bowl. I will be back!

Usually a big fan of Roots and the new Garu Bowl but just had a one off bad experience. The bowl was made with the wrong ingredients and the employee didn’t look like they knew how to make the bowl I asked for.

So I DoorDash and I was getting somebody’s food and they just handed me the food not in a bag. So I just asked “hey is it supposed to be bagged?” Just being a good human being so they can have their food in a bag at least be safe. She then told me to put it in a bag myself that was on the right. Now before I asked for the order, a man came in and she bagged the food for him. I am not sure why but I just thought that wasn’t right and it’s not my job to bag people’s food it’s to get it from the restaurant or store and then bring it to their home not do the job of the employees and bag their food for them.
