We finally had a pizza… and OMG, YUMMMMM! We ordered the Rupert Pupkin — fried chicken Milanese, mozzarella, vodka sauce, pecorino, and basil. It’s like a deep-dish-style pie with a rich, buttery crust. The vodka sauce was so good we instantly regretted not ordering an extra side just to dip the pizza in. When we picked it up, we couldn’t even wait to get home… we each sampled a slice in the car, and it was perfect.
We also grabbed a side of wings in the Korean BBQ flavor. They were solid, but we were a little disappointed that they didn’t come with blue cheese or ranch — dips are extra if you want them.
Overall, though, both the pizza and the wings were absolutely delicious.
Death by Pizza is truly that perfect hole-in-the-wall spot you hit when you’re craving a really good pie (they don’t do slices) or a solid sandwich. It’s not a dine-in place — you order, pick it up, and take it home… or you end up eating it on the sidewalk because you’re too greedy to wait. I’ve been there.
Previously, I hadn’t tried their actual pizza yet, but my hubby had — so that was on the agenda for this visit. Before this, we tried the Vodka Parm Fried Chicken à la Vodka Sando (fried chicken Milanese, vodka sauce, mozzarella, and basil on an Italian seeded roll — $19) and the Chicken Parm Sando (fried chicken Milanese, sweet sauce, mozzarella, and basil — $19).
Both sandwiches were really good. Our only complaint? We wanted more sauce to dip them in. We’re greedy — but honestly, that’s just how good they were.

Believe it or not, I still haven’t tried their actual pizza yet, but my hubby has — so that’s definitely on the agenda for our next visit. Look i don’t want to get ahead of myself here but this could quite possible be the best pizza in all of South Florida. The flavor, the thickness, the smell….the whole experience from top to bottom was fantastic. You pay for what you get here….period!!

This is the single best Detroit style pizza I have ever had including my trips to Michigan. This place is an absolute hidden gem of south Fl and has earned it. Small footprint walk up only but you don’t wait long and the service is great. Highly recommend the stop if you’re in the area. I’ve been several times and there has yet to be anything short of a fantastic experience. Hot honey or margarita are my personal favorites but you can’t go wrong!

Death by Pizza absolutely lives up to the hype! The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and every bite is packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients, even the sauce has that homemade kick. The vibe inside is fun and laid-back, and the staff are super friendly. Definitely one of the best pizza spots around.

When I tell you Death By Pizza, never disappoints, Lord knows they never do! I just single-handedly had one of the best slices of pizzas in my life! I had a slice of their short rib pizza and it just changed my life! Thank God to that worker that told me about how if you get two slices you can get a free drink! Because one slice was not gonna be enough for me that’s how good it was! I am not even a pizza fanatic, I’m very picky with pizza because most pizzas are very mediocre and greasy. But this was so divinely delicious! Death By Pizza sets the standards and raises the bar when it comes to these local pizza shops! They just get it right every time I love this place. Customer service is always on point, vibes in the store is cool and cozy, and the best part they’re quick and efficiency. I hope the owners never go bald, I love you Death By Pizza!

Their bread is so ridiculously good, I couldn’t find a thing to complain about and that’s surprising for me. Vodka sauce was great, if they had a cheese steak on this bread I’d think I was in one of the best spots in Philly, it’s that good.

We ordered the parmesan garlic wings, chicken parm sandwich, and white pizza.. Everything was well flavored and was ready earlier than estimated. Small area inside which was busy when we got there to pick up. Would like to go back for lunch to be able to try the pizza by the slice.

I stopped by Death by Pizza expecting to grab a pie, but when I got to the counter, the guy told me about their Wednesday special—20 wings for $20. I couldn’t pass that up! He let me choose two flavors, but I went all in on Parmesan garlic, and let me tell you, these wings were off the chain!

The flavor was incredible—perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The smell alone had me digging into the box before I even made it home! If you’re a wing lover, you have to give them a try.

Next time, I’m definitely coming back for their Detroit-style pizza. If the wings are this good, I can only imagine how amazing the pizza is!

wouldn’t recommend getting the “jumbo” mozzarella sticks since I paid $18 for regular sticks. Small amount of different pizza but good picks thru out.

As a pizza snob, I confess, I loved it. Creative combos, fresh ingredients and thick crispy crust.
The downside is there is no seating. Strictly takeout. Order well in advance at busy times. The on-line ordering process also requires a little extra time. They ask a lot of questions.
There’s very little parking so bring a friend to jump out and pick up the pies.
