I loved everything about the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice the bar tender was hittttttttttttttttn. The waitress was very nice. The Dj was on point and he didn’t mind taking requests. He took like 10 minutes looking for a song for my best friend who was celebrating her 40th birthday. It is super clean and neat on the inside and they have an outdoor patio if you smoke. The food how ever is a OH HECK NO… I am not sure if the original cook was out sick or what but next time we will eat somewhere else and meet here for the drinks and music. If the food gets better please come back here to let me know so I can try it again. Like I said thus is a really nice place and fun

I ordered the wings lemon pepper and Caribbean jerk. Was not up to par. My first time here. Chicken wings dry and flavorless without the sauce. I had to get a box and take them to my dog. If they can’t cook wings correctly there is no need for me to be back. That’s a simple thing to make. Oh well not worth my money or my time.it’s been a huge disappointment to try to support black owned businesses especially restaurants. Poor quality of food in Charlotte’s black food experience. They just don’t care about quality. But want the fast and jacked up prices for sub par. I went to Hawthorns to eat decently. I won’t be back to sofies anytime soon until quality becomes a priority.

The atmosphere was nice when it came to the vibe. The security and the ladies at the front checking us in were very nice.
There’s a bartender that was very rude! Short , clear woman with a side under bite. A few people, who were strangers to us, left when we left because of her attitude!

Great atmosphere. DJ was killin it. Big TVs at the bar. Looks nice and clean. Food was good. Service was a bit slow and didn’t greet us. We didn’t know if we needed to wait at greeter table or seat ourselves, because they walked away and didn’t come back. All in all good place and experience.

First time hitting this spot up with one of my friends. Ended up meeting the owner of the restaurant. Super cool guy. The service was good and the place is definitely a vibe on game day Sundays. The waitresses are waiters are dope. Check it out for yourself. I will definitely be back again.

I visited during the Super Bowl so I understand that this is not their every day look. All the tables we camping, which makes it easier to serve multiple tables. Soul service and my order was wrong even after she came back and asked for it twice and I suggest that she write it down. Small fight broke out. DJ was phenomenal. Bartender extremely unprofessional grabbing the microphone with unnecessary remarks about service and 86’d items. Might give it a shot on a regular date and see. Food has a lot of potential. Having three steaks on the menu does not make you a steakhouse. Lol

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly service. The food was good…my son devoured those lamb chops, I was feeling a bit hung over and the grilled chicken helped me a lot! The salad was fresh and they have the good ranch! A DJ was setting up, cool vibes

Spacious restaurant.Atmosphere is nice. The food was good.Bangin Shrimp can use some improvement. The shrimp was too big, sauce was on the side..nothing spectacular. Crab and shrimp dip was great. The entrees we had was good. It would have been great, if it had more Alfredo sauce…I asked for more sauce, never got it…the other dish we ordered needed more sauce. I would go back again…Next time, I would request when order, what I want more of…

I purchased a table for the DJ B-Lord party and it was the absolute worst experience ever. I was under the impression if you purchased a table you would at least have a server. We sat there for 30 min no one acknowledged us or anything. When my friend approached the manager/owner he said well we are a club , we are busy , and why didn’t you flag one of them down…. Wait what!!!! So paying $160 mind you which wasn’t bad but it was advertised that it at least includes a server so I’m confused on why I should have to flag a server down . I have been to Stats, Infinity, and NC Tavern and from my experience at those places I never ever had to flag a server down. The servers at those establishments from my experience come up to you and at least ask if you would like a drink or to place an order . Then the kitchen closes at 11:30pm which sucks so I feel like I basically wasted money . It was my first and definitely my last time going. What sucked I went to celebrate my birthday which turned out to be a dub lol oh well you live and you learn.
