Such a cute little shop and the owner/baker is super sweet. The paninis are all fresh and delicious and the chips are well seasoned. The baked goods all look amazing and the birthday cake cookie and toffee cookie I ordered to go were both pretty good as well. Try this hidden gem, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Great little Sandwich shop. Support small businesses!! They have an eclectic selection that all sounded so amazing it was hard to choose. I picked the bahn mi with shredded pork and it was amazing. All of their sandwiches come with either a side salad or chips and salsa and I felt they were very reasonably priced. Check them out next time you’re looking for a yummy sandwich!

Just cutting through Elk Grove on my way to somewhere over there, and who do I see …Hairlip Louie and his hunched backed eskimo wife, Wideriver strolling into Baguettes Cafe! Well, I just have to stop …for one, he owes me 50 bucks for taking that arrowhead out of Wideriver’s tush and two…to grab one of those world famous Turkey and avocado sandwiches fro Baguettes!

One of the best delis in the Sacramento hands down. Walking in the air is filled with fresh bread being baked so thick even through my Newport coated lungs my mouth was watering.
Not only is the owner an absolute gem, happy to give tours and talk about the specials; she also works 7 days a week running this place by herself. 6 making wonderful sandwiches, breads, soups and treats and the 7th shopping.
For most people that would probably be too much but by the smile on the owners face you can tell she loves what she does and that shows in the food.
I got the daily special, pastrami with all the fixings. My partner got a half of chicken artichoke and some chorizo chili. The food was fresh, tasted amazing and the portions were enough for my 350lbs body to fill up on. The total was 30$ which by itself is a great price but knowing it’s going to a local small business that pours love into their food? With that in mind it’s a steal.
In a world filled with fast food joints on every corner baguettes provides good, local fresh food with love for the same price. Me and my boyfriend will be back.

Cute shop. Ordered the Cubano and the Cali turkey panini. Husband said the Cubano was a bit dry and the Panini came in two small squares of sandwich. I would have preferred a bit more for the price. Both tasted good though. The side of homemade macaroni salad for me and homemade chips and salsa for the hubby were a nice treat and tasted yummy.

I’m pescatarian. The avocado toast was delicious and $6! When prices are this low I’m happy to give a nice tip 🙂 The toast was more like a flatbread…relatively thin, but it was soft and crispy. Yum yum yum. No baguettes this morning though 🙁
