I got their ribeye Caesar sandwich and when I say it is one of the best sandwiches, I have ever eaten in my life I am serious. The lettuce was so fresh. And the picture doesn’t do it justice since it looks dry but the meat was super juicy. The service here was great, as our waitress was super attentive. The drinks were also good too; they had me tipsy while I was leaving which is exactly what I want when doing a night out. Also, I liked their music selection, they played a little of everything for all different types of people. Anyways, 10/10 experience, and I’ll come back for the sandwich.

Yallll! Actively making this review while sitting here. I’ve been in Dallas 38 hours and have eaten here three times. Each time i had the brisket fries. Sooo good. Fried mushrooms are also really good. The employees are so nice and efficient. General Manager has been naturally accommodating with a party of 9 (we have all collective decided to keep coming back each time haha). Thank you guys so much!

Got the wings and the catfish po’boy.
The wings were average. Normal bar wings, not anything special, overpriced a few dollars.
The po’boy however was an absolute delight. Crisp, fresh, well seasoned and slathered.

Such a fun spot for karaoke Friday night! Great atmosphere, friendly service, and a laid-back feel. Everyone’s welcoming, the energy is upbeat, and it makes you want to come back every week. Thankful to our friend for inviting us to this Great place. Highly recommend.

I came here in December and still can’t stop thinking about their Reuben sandwich. Seriously the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had. The gentleman helping us was so friendly and went out of his way to be accommodating. He had great banter and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Cool spot as for drinks, music and vibe but they will not prepare or cook your order the you requested. I always ask for my wings to be fried hard and they are never fried hard. The bartender will repeat your request back to you but it never comes out the way you requested it. It’s like, if y’all don’t want to do it, just tell me that. Give me the choice on how to spend my money.

This tavern is pretty much like Cheers. The staff knows your name by the second time you come in. The patrons are primarily from other restaurants and bars around, so Harwood Tavern is kind of the gathering place.
Food is great. Peticolas Velvet Hammer on tap amongst a host of other local brews. Always have whatever game you want on TV and over the speakers. NFL, CFB, Soccer, name it.
And they have some award winning karaoke, but I haven’t been there for that yet.
All-in-all, if you want an ideal bar in downtown, this place is for you.

It was my first time in Dallas, and I stopped by this tavern for a late dinner and what a great find !
A genuinely authentic American bar with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Excellent food, great service, and overall a wonderful evening !!

The best brisket tacos, chicken nachos, and salsa. We stumbled across this place last summer and it was delicious then so we drove 7 hours straight to Harwood this visit to Dallas. Great service and hangout spot.
