This was my first visit. The arachera steak was tender and very tasty even though I asked for medium well. The portion of steak was generous and the service was very good. I am curious about their weekend buffet. I will follow up with that review next time.

This place is the best tasting food I’ve ever had while visiting El Paso. Right by downtown a block from my hotel. What a find!! Great value too. Definitely will be back. The only negative is that they close at 4 or I’d probably visit twice a day dosing my stay. 🙂

Food was amazing! I got the Quesabirria Tacos, and they are to die for. So flavorful and hot and A LOT OF food for the price. They played great music. And the waiters all made us feel like family! They talked to us, made conversation, and were always patient with us. THEY EVEN LET US STAY 30 MINUTES AFTER CLOSE!

This fantastic, locally owned Mexican restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a great dining experience! The photos posted online give you a great idea of the ambiance. This restaurant is spotless – a huge plus in my book. The food is absolutely delicious – it’s seasoned to perfection and tastes like it was made with love. The pepper on the eggs is something I added. I’m definitely a pepper lover. It has that wonderful homemade flavor! The coffee is also great – not too strong, not too weak, with a subtle cinnamon flavor. Just a heads up, once you try this place, you’ll be hooked and coming back for more!

Amazing food at a great price. You can’t go wrong with the hard shell desebrada tacos and both red and green salsas were tasty and not too spicy. Also the pancakes were made perfectly! Will definitely eat here again when we are in town!

Kind staff and homemade flavorful meals. Red rice is yummy yummy. Caldo de res tastes authentic. It tastes like the cook is one of my old aunts. Very convenient that they have a parking spot, you can just get out in one of the exits from 1-10 and then keep going, skipping downtown traffic, but with a downtown sort of experience, cause it is 2 blocks away from San Jacinto Plaza

A waste of time. Made the mistake of going here on our lunch break and found ourselves waiting 40 minutes to get food. Ended up leaving with a coke in hand and a few chips eaten. My food came out at the 45 minute mark while my partners was probably still being cooked. I honestly think the waitress didn’t even put our order in until she saw us getting upset. The place was not busy so I would understand if it was a high volume time, but a party of 4 and then 2 came in after us and got their food within 15 minutes. I asked for to-go box and asked to only pay for the drinks and burrito and the cashier still charged me for both meals. The waitress taking our order was also training another employee…definitely recommend a different trainer. First and last time coming to this place. The employees didn’t seem to care that we were upset as I’ve read this is a normal occurance based off reviews. The table with the party of 4 look more concerned about our bad experience than the employees did. Never again.
